The foot spa is really good -- hot water & nice jets. Unfortunately, I am now one of the many who have a bad drain plug. 6 months of sporadic use and the drain plug broke off. This is a common problem based on reading reviews so why hasn't the problem been fixed. We'll see how Brookstone responds.

I have been using my foot spa every month since I got it as a gift for Christmas. I loved the foot spa until I tried to use it today and the cork broke off and I had water every where. The Spa is wonderful. Love the remote. The timed heat sensor. Helped our tired, callous feet ..big time...But...
The motor can be noisy and place towels on the ground to avoid the splash and treat it with kid gloves. The "plug" broke in the tub and when I called Brookstone they had no replacements. Advised me to use styrofoam or cork to "plug up" the tub. Unacceptable by any standards.
So beware....and handle with care.

I bought this gift for a mothers day gift and mom really liked it. The water heats up quickly and gets really hot. The jets work wonderfully. The only thing is that the tub is kinda of heavy when finishing and you have to carry it to drain, but overall it's a pretty great product!

This is a great product the water stays really warm during the entire pedicure, and the jets are really powerful. The only negative thing is the splash gaurd breaks easily i wish that it was more durable to withstand heavy feet!

My mother and I both use the foot bath to relax after a long day on our feet. It is soothing to have them in the heated water that unlike other cheeper units we had tried actually heats the water. Yes!

The cord is wonderfully long. I only wish it wound itself.

the process of draining could be made easier with an easier to grip screw/plug or some sort of other valve but it doesn't leak and that is good.

We have been using it for three months and it is very nice.

I originally bought a $20 foot spa and expected it to be okay but it was terrible. My biggest complaint was the water got cold within 5-10 minutes. This Brookstone spa has it's own heater built in and the water actually gets too hot - which I love because it heats quickly and I just turn the heat off when it's the right temp. Easy to operate. Nice jets and you can really fill it up so your feet are completely covered to the ankles. I love it! NO complaints. And the remote is handy to change selections without trying to bend all the way over. I love it!

I've owned other footbaths and none compare to the Aqua-Jet. The water rises to and stays at a comfortable, soothing temperature that leaves your feet feeling so wonderful you'll be dancing like Fred Astaire. Read a book or relax watching television as you remotely adjust your Aqua-Jet to give yourself the BEST foot massage (bar a geisha) you'll ever recieve.

I like this product and use it almost everyday. It is pretty big and deep so the water goes over the ankles. I like the heat feature which keeps the water at a hot and yet comfortable temperature. The jet and air bubble features are all right.

I like this foot massager. I haven't used it too often but the few times I used it, I really enjoyed it. I have a Dr. Scholls one that I bought for either 20 or 30 bucks and its incomparable to this one. This one really has a whirlpool effect. I didn't give this 5 stars b/c it is heavy. I use a a cup to pour water into the foot tub b/c it is very heavy carrying it filled with water.

This footbath is exactly what we were looking for. We tried other footbaths, and they just didn't do the job. They wouldn't keep the water warm. This heater is so good, you can put cold water in it and it would be warm in half an hour. It's a little heavy to carry, but it has easy to use handles and it's very sturdy.

THis thing is great! The temperature really does warm up and maintain heat. I like my water fairly hot, and even I found myself turning the heat function off from time to time. Received this as a gift from my husband. I absolutley loves it. It does everything it claims to do including heat the water. This was the deciding factor when purchasing this model. It can almost be too hot at times. Not a problem though, just turn the heat off for a while. The remote is a nice addition although it has to be pointing directly at the sensor. The jets have good power and are adjustable. It doesn't splash unless the jets are full blast and air is all the way up - still not much though. The only thing I don't get is the rolling massager for the bottoms of your feet. Maybe only flat footed people feel it? Reguardless, great product, recommended.

It is a little bulky so hard to store and mom recommends bringing the water to the product vs. carrying the spa with the water in it to where ever you are using it.

After using and tossing out a couple junky foot baths (found in the mothers day gift section of your local store) - I found this foot bath to be very reliable and well made.

I like to soak my feet every couple of weeks to soften the toe nails and the hard skin on my feet. This foot bath keeps the water warm - too warm. I have to shut off the heat on occasion as the water gets too hot.

I highly recommend!!

This project is amazing! After being on my feet in heels, I look forward to using my aqua jet foot spa. My stress and tension melt away at the end of the day as the heat and jets massage my feet. I needed to find a foot spa for my wife because her feet are always sore. So I did several searches online for foot spas and read the comments about each products. This particular foot spa got good reviews because it actually heated the water.

When my wife took it out of the box I was impressed with how sturdy it looked. I was actually expecting cheap looking plastic.

I read the short instruction booklet. Then I put cold water into the unit and started it up according to the instructions. Note the booklet says it will be more efficient to put warm water into unit, however we do not have any warm tap water in our house and I didn't want to put some water on the stove. Well it took the foot spa about 40 minutes to heat up the cold water.

Once it was warm my wife put her feet in and she said it was like heaven. She loves it!

So in conclusion it is sturdy, takes awhile to heat up cold water, and feels like heaven on the feet.

Heats up fast and is very easy to use. The arch massagers are not automated. You just roll your arches over them. Jets are very powerful and have a wide range of adjustments.

We had another similar foot spa but the water didn't heat and soon was lukewarm. This one heats the water well. The rollers in the bottom don't do much for me, so it's basically just a foot soak with water jets at the toes. Still very relaxing. The downside though is it will be sitting in my living room as we use it often while watching TV.

This was purchased to replace my wife's currently device. The Aqua Jet is larger than her current foot spa, and a bit heavier, however she commented that she loves the drain because its often hard to carry/empty even her previous devices. Best feature is that this device actually DOES keep the water hot. She's owned various spa's that claimed to do that before, and this one does it, not only does it keep the water warm, but it will make the water hot. The only downside is that the Jet's have two settings low and high. There doesn't seem to be a way to turn the Jets off once you are using them without actually turning the unit off, then back on.

A small price to pay for a great spa.

I agree, the rollers aren't an asset to the product. I wish it had more jets on the sides and back,as I would turn my foot so the sides could benefit from the jets also. I recently had my first pedicure (as a 45 year-old man) and I realized that it was really good for my feet, so I started looking for something to use at home that would provide some of the same benefits. I got this product a few days ago, and it helps with skin roughness, itching, and with some foot pain. I've not had it long enough to know if it will always provide that last benefit.The built-in heater is terrific -- the real advantage over just a plain tub of water. I thought I would miss the salts, but that is OK. The gimmicky "massage" stuff in the bottom is of little benefit, but no harm, either. Just don't expect much of it -- I agree with other reviewers who wrote that the tub is really too small to use those rolly things.I am, by the way, using it right now, with my laptop. Life is good.My 11-year-old daughter seems to like it as much as I do.I have only two complaints:[...]When did we consumers start paying companies to stand by their products? We are sheep.Second, this was all in its original wrapping at the store, but did not include that little pumice piece, which would fit nicely in the pumice-piece holder. This product works great with one exception : It does take a while to heat up cold water. I would recommend filling with warm water to begin with to speed up the heating process. If you use somewhat cold tap water, it takes 20 or more minutes to reach a decent temperature.

A great feature is the size. I have size 13 feet and can use this unit with no problems.

I would also recommend putting a mat or large plastic bag under the unit to protect the floor from any water that splashes out.

Tried other cheaper foot spas and nothing compares. Unlike other units, this one actually heats up the water as it's supposed to do. Wife loves it as she frequently has cold feet. 15-20 minutes of use gives her a good sweat which helps circulation as well.
Reason only giving 4 stars is the unit is fairly heavy(especially with water). It may be hard for some to lift to drain the water after use.

I bought this for my husband who is a volleyball coach. After standing in a gym for hours on end, his feet, ankles, and knees hurt, and his whole body is tense.

He finds this easy to use and relaxes his feet and leg muscles.

The only down side -- he wears a 12 4E shoe, and doesn't have much room to wiggle his toes.

I work in the service industry and I'm on my feet for long periods of time. I wanted an exemplarily foot massager to reduce the aches and pains resulting from long work days; I definitely found it in the Aqua-Jet™ Foot Massage Spa!!! I am extremely pleased with this product and wanted to echo a few things written by another reviewer: Web site says not available till June 2008, but I found several at my local store. This is one of the best built units I have seen and used. The great thing about this unit is the ability to heat and maintain the water at a hot or warm temperature! The jets work very well at massaging your feet and the remote control is a really nice convenience. The only negative would be the weight of the unit, once filled with water. This may pose a slight problem for anyone with lifting constraints, but all others can manage with little to no issues. It may be expensive to some, but remember you get what you pay for and this product is WELL WORTH THE MONEY!!!

I researched many different foot massagers on line. This was the most reasonably priced unit that I trusted would maintain the water at the right temperature. It works great. I have a bit of trouble filling it, as it is too bulky to fit into any of my sinks. I only have a standing shower (no tub), so it is not easy to fill there, either. Once it is full, I am one happy girl!! The water stays hot and the bubble action is very relaxing on my tired feet.

This foot bath is by far the best one around and I should know because I have purchased about four of them and not a one can hold a torch to this one. It's a nice size so there is no bubbling over, the jets are adjustable for your comfort and quiet too, and the heater really gets your water hot, and clean up is easy as there is a plug in the back that you unscrew to let the water out and none of the other foot baths have that. So if you're looking for a foot bath, look no further because you have found the best.

Web site says not available till June 2008, but I found several at my local store. This is one of the best built units I have seen and used. This unit is heavier than most on the market and some people might find this a problem since carrying the unit with water either after filling or emptying might be heavier than expected. The great thing about this unit is the ability to heat and maintain the water at a hot or warm temperature. The jets work very well, unlike less expensive units found in drug stores that just seem to vibrate the water, these really do a good job of massaging your feet. If you are a Diabetic like I am, CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR FIRST. This unit helps me relax my feet and most of all with my circulation. The feet fit nicely in the unit and the splash guard really helps. Another nice feature is the remote, letting you change settings easily (wish it would stay in place better on the unit). I personally do not care for the two rollers on the bottom, but they go on and off easily. This is not a cheap unit compared to others on the market, but then again, I have not found another on the market that works as good as this and is as durable as this unit.

It is better than I expected!The spa is large enough for your feet, the jets are very powerful, I enjoy it. After a long day at the salon on my feet all day, I love to relax in my foot massager. The jets are positioned just right to massage the toes and feet. The only thing that isn't so great about the massager is the size. It is kind of larger than anticipated. I would not give it up for the world per the heat in the massager stays on as long as I want.

Loved that is was large enough inside to accomidate mens larger feet as well as womens. Liked the movable jets. The water heats up to a nice hot temp. All functions are easily accessible with the remote included, so you don't have to lean over and change anything. Really relaxing and comfortable to use. Your feet feel 'happy' and softer after use!

Bought this as a Christmas gift to myself. I had my eye on this all year and wanted a foot spa similar to those at real spas. This foot spa fulfilled that want and I am happy I purchased this item. My only gripe is that I wish it had jets at the bottom of your feet. Other than that, this foot spa is very soothing and relaxing.

Overall, this is a great product. I bought it for my girlfriend and she loves it. It is easy to use and helps reduce tension after a workout or just an ordinary day. The only downside is that you are not suppose to add substances other than water. It would be nice if you could add different oils to the bath.

The remote control is wonderful.I turn the heat on and off and adjust the power of the jets as needed.The jets work great. They are very powerful when on high. I love the water warming feature. You never have to worry about the water cooling off on you like most foot baths. The first time I used this product I was so relaxed I fell asleep on the couch! The foot massagers and pumice stone were also great features. I love it!

The product itself is good but it all depends on what you expect to get out of it. If you are expecting numerous jets at different angles and vibrating massagers then this is not for you. The jets are nice, but only hit in one spot and the massaging node has to done manually, it doesn't vibrate or do anything on its own. The product is built well and definately does relax and help take pain out of your foot, but do not expect too much.

I liked have temperature control. It only has on and off switch. The max temperature was a little hot for me so I wanted to choose what I want. I read a news paper article says foot bath is really good for people who has problem with heart and blood vessels. I am diabetic and also had heart surgery so it might help.

I suffer from severe plantar fascitis and have received anti-inflamatory medicines, stretching treatments as well as the maximum number of cortizone injections I can get. However, by using the spa several times a day now, it has greatly helped to relieve the pain in my heel. I really like the fact it keeps the water hot and circulating while I am using it. I don't care for the massage rollers which come with it, so I don't use them.

I love the tub but the plastic fittings of the pipe is very very sensitive to the closing. I have bought two tubs and I have had the same problem with both.
Overall the tub is fantastic for the jets and the heat.Just be careful not to crank the pipe fitting to tightly

I started to feel very uncomfortable about the safety of salon pedicures--how clean are those jets in the spa. I do my own pedicure using this spa, but if salons in my state start using plain foot tubs lined with disposable plastic liners, I'll readily go back to the indulgence of someone doing the pedicure for me. Until then, this is the best of the spas I have tried.

It's great to have the heater, so you can use it longer without discomfort. It is a bit heavy to lift and empty. They say not to use any additions, but we put in Epsom Salts, and it's doing fine. We should use it more!

My 88 year old mother loves this footbath. It is the only one that actually heats the water so she doesn't have to empty it every day. The only problem is, she said the swirling feature doesn't work now. I will call and check the warrenty when I visit her. I purchased the extended warrenty with purchase.
