We added our Brookstone wireless speakers which makes the sound great with the iPod and very good even with LP's and cassettes. So far we haven't tried recording, but we've used all the playback mechanisms.It would be great to be able to convert direct from LP to iPOD, but I think we will have to convert LP to CD and then to the player. Thats about it.. After a few seconds playing either CD or record player the system freezes... CD-player stops working, the buttons dosen't react (neither on remote)when pressed. I haven't tested the cassette player yet, cause frankly.. I dont have any cassettes anymore.. like 8-track it's history.
