I liked this a lot right when it arrived until I noticed one speaker wasn't working on some songs and lots of humming and feedback on most others. I really wanted to like this, but had to return it.

I was passing by my local Brookstone and decided to stop by. I heard some loud music blasting (not unusual for the stores) but figured it was coming from the usual tower set-up they have. One of the employees pointed me in the direction of the boombox and I was amazed. As she explained it, it has all the sound of all the fancy stationary stereo systems but I can bring it anywhere I want. I wish it had come out a little earlier in the summer, but it looks nice enough that you can still bring it anywhere in the house. I also wish that they offered it in different colors besides white but I'm sure that eventually this could be an option. Even with the batteries installed, it's not heavy at all.

I've been searching high and low for an affordable, portable iPod Boombox to use in the house, out on the deck and for tailgating. This one fit the bill. The sound quality is excellent for something of this portable size. I could hear details in songs that I've never heard before and can actually hear all the lyrics for songs. Plus - you can really crank the volume loud on this boombox, if needed.

The only drawback for it is that when not using it via the AC adapter, it runs off of 8 D batteries. I don't know yet how many hours that the boombox can run off the batteries. It would be nice if the boombox had an internal rechargeable battery.

Excellent, beautiful sound. I returned a black [$] from Brookstone that looks small and cool but sound was very mediocre. I'm very happy with this unit. I wish the ipod/touch was on an angle for easier viewing. I like that it protects the itouch from little children. Best bang for the buck!

Surprisingly good sound. I was shocked at how the sound filled the room. For me the portability option is key. You want to take your Ipod with you wherever you go and get the best sound you can from it and this product delivers!

I love having my whole music collection on my iPod, but don't feel like zoning out to headphones all the time. Boombox lets me listen to my tunes and hang out with my friends. Another thing I like about it is that I can bring it anywhere. It's as big-sounding as a full stereo system, but I don't have to hook anything up like other iPod stereo systems.
