These are really great because they are not so bulky, you can really put them where the pain is and they DO stay warm for a long time, BUT they say NOT to put them in the microwave to heat them. You are supposed to heat the gel packs in hot water - not nearly as convenient as putting in the microwave. Besides that - once you have it on - it is the best I have used~!
