No help at all. Could feel an occasional twitch but no pain relief. Product's cream seems more effective than the actual product. Save yourself the time of repackaging it and returning it by not buying it in the first place.

It works great! My mom's lower back pain showed a 90% improvement in 3 weeks - pain that was causing her to stop her daily walking is now gone. I also have reduced back pain and the blue cooling light is a nice feature. The design does makes it awkward for one person to use on their mid or upper back but overall I am very happy with this product.

I bought this for my ankle . I had surgery on my ankle about 11/2 years ago and still have pain at the site. Especially when the seasons change its my own little weather predictor, but when I bought this I had little hope that it would work. Then amazingly so it has . The pain lessens completely when I use this. It so simple to use a little pricey but worth the investment.

I awake with lower left back and hip pain and use this when hurting.This product works just the way it states. It truely is amazing product. After use I get out of bed alot better than when I dont use it. If you are suffering with pain don't cut yourself short!Go out and try it and buy it and you wont be disappointed.

I have used it on sore muscles and joint pain. It seems to help both if I use daily. It's easy to use, but would be nice if I didn't have to hold it to the spot. After using, I feel relief for almost 24 hours. I feel encouraged by the relief I have felt in the past few weeks.

The wand brings gentle relief, you can feel the muscles slowly relaxing, letting go of pain. The only difficulty comes when holding it in positions. I get annoyed trying to find extension cords so I can use it in bed. A rechargeable battery like that used in toothbrushes would be much better.

Bought this for my 72-year-old father who loves how the heat soothes arthritis pain in his hands and neck, although he was skeptical at first! The warmth feels like sunshine,but penetrates way down... you can feel it...and it has really helped him. We may buy one for ourselves.

My husband suffers from nerve damage due to a growth compressing his spinal cord and experiences muscle pain and stiffness particularly in his legs. My family assumed this wand was a hoax and that I was wasting my money, but when a loved one suffers, you find yourself taking chances of hope that something will work and bring comfort. My husband was doubtful but agreed to try it for a week. Within only a few days, the aches and pains were gone! Muscle stiffness still exists, but the pain is gone!! I have used it as well on arthritic pain in my hands. Works after one or two treatments.

It takes several uses before you see results. The time it requires is a bit long especially if you have a large surface area that hurts. Works better on a confined area that the light covers without having to move it around.

This was a family gift. We have all tried it and no one has felt any relief or noticed any change after using it. It was used for a variety of ailments on a variety of ages, but we did not see any of the results that were touted in the description. I will be packaging up the item for return.

Went out to clear the snow off my car after the latest snow storm in Massachusetts. Having a severe case of Raynaud's syndrome (numb fingers due to poor circulation), it didn't take long for my fingers to go numb. I applied the wand to the fingers of both hands. Almost immediately it improved the circulation where the numbness went away quicker than when before buying the wand, I used a blow dryer on them. Needless to say, I'm pleased.

I just bought the pain wand for my husband for christmas. I actually think it was for me,but he had complained of achy finger joints so I thought it might be good. We couldn't really tell if it worked or not, but I brought the wand with us when we went away for a few days. On our trip we saw my mother-in-law. She was holding her sore arm, and complained of a sore thumb joint in her arthritic fingers. So I sat her down on her couch with her arm propped up on a pillow and I set the Pain wand on her upper arm. she actually used it on that arm for about 45 minutes. When we saw her later that night she was swinging her arm around and said how much better she felt. Well, she kept my new little wand for a couple of days and claimed to feel much better. So before going home I went to the mall in Scottsdale with a brookstone store and bought her one. I still haven't gotten to use it much, but I am now going to order one on line for my mother's birthday for her leg pain. I guess that is why I call it my husband"s "magic wand"! I have used items like this in physical therapy and liked the results. I haven't noticed any difference in my symptoms yet, but I have only used it for a few days so hopefully with time it gets better

I gained increased mobility after using it just twice. I even let a friend borrow it for her dog's hip, and the dog moved better.

I used this on my 2 month long golf elbow. I was no longer able to golf as the pain was so bad. I used this wand once for ten minutes and then the second time for the recommended time of twenty minutes and I have had no pain since. I golf every day and I am amazed after every game that I have no pain. I must of had a bad case of inflammation and the wand cured it.

This thing is amazing! Although I bought it today, I used it on the back of my neck and shoulders for a short while. It made a difference right off the bat. I realize that it'll often take more than one session to get optimum results. But if it provided the relief I felt in the short session I used it, this is going to be a life saver for me. I plan to buy one for my lady friend who is suffering acute pain on the small of her back. That's how impressed I am with it.

Since I suffer from arthritis in my neck, I was anxious to try this product. Although I have other neck-relief items (massagers and neck strecthers) that give some releif, I found that this product did not relief my pain. Others may find it helpful, however, for sore muscles, etc.

I bought this item as a gift for my 80-year-old parents. Before sending, I tried it out on a mildly arthritic knuckle on my hand. I did feel some relief. My mother used it on her severely arthritic wrist and said it did help - however she did not apply it for the 30 minutes the instructions recommend. She will continue to use for flare-ups, and is satisfied with the product.

I have not had enough time using the wand to formulate my opinion yet. I do find it difficult to hold the wand in one place for maximum benefit
without my hand becoming tired; maybe because my thumbs are arthritic and it's awkward. A very expensive product.
