I bought this shower radio after many reviews of others. This one seemed right, but then I soon realiazed that it was not that good. First off, the suction cup does not work. It is very weak and doesn't even hold up the radio for a few seconds. The other thing about this is that the volume is too low to hear with the shower running. You really have to listen carefully to hear anything.
This radio is ideal for if you want to soak in the bath or jacuzzi, but not good for listening in the shower.

The radio is fantastic. Reception is great. The presets are great. Controls are easy to use. The drawback is the suction cup mount. My first and second radios fell in the tub and drowned. The first one was covered by warranty and the most recent one was not. However,warranty or not, I am so pleased with the product I just ordered my third. Life will not be the same until my new radio arrives.

It's too easy to erroneously touch the "timer" button rather than the on/off button, and the timer then cannot be turned off.

The suction cups did not adhere to my bathroom wall and there was no alternative to hang the radio. This is really a faux paus since there are so many different bathroom surfaces. The remedy is cheap but the inconvenience is great.

This is the first time we've ever had a radio that can be used in the shower. It gives perfect clarity on the radio stations we listen to. We really love the feature that allows us to use 2 or 3 presets so each of us can hop in the shower and begin listening to our favorite station at the push of a button.

This radio has it all, plus it's easy to use. We have a small bathroom and suctioned it on tile outside of the shower. Radio comes in very clear.

I gave this to my husband for x-mas so He could listen to the news in the morning. He loved it, and it has worked perfectly. We have definitely not had any problems with the volume. He especially likes the preset buttons.Great reception.

This radio is great because of the quality of the sound and the fact it has pre-sets, if you have soap on your face and want to change the channel, all you have to do is push a button.

Excellent radio. The best shower radio that I have ever owned. The one downside is that the suction cup does not hold very well as this is a heavy radio. If they could fix the suction/harness/clamp then this would be perfect.

4 "C" batteries (and 1 AAA) seems like a lot but it will last a long time.
The reception is usually not so good here, but this champ picked up many stations and didn't even have the antenna extended! I was happy with the all dials - very user-friendly. The 3 presets are wonderful! The clock is a very nice touch. And the Timer! What a great idea! It lasts about 20 mins and then shuts off. It's usually exactly how long I'm in there. Perfect fit when installing. Can fit into any shower! The volume goes up pretty loud without distortion.

Everything about this shower radio is first class. Yes it is a little spendy, but compared to other shower radios, this one wins hands down!

This radio is used in the master bathroom shower and is very easy to use. There is a slight echo issue but that may be because of the walls in the shower. Other than that, there are no other complaints. The large digital read-out is also a great part of the radio.

The manual gave an incorrect procedure for setting the presets. (After tuning to the desired station, press M, then the desired preset button, then press M again.) They left that last press M again out!!!

I love this little radio! The only issue I had was that it took me a few attempts to figure out how to program the preset stations. Now that my favorite stations are preset it is easier than ever. This little radio sounds better than other radios I have tried in our bathroom - I live out in the country and some radios just don't get great reception. I would definitely recommend this radio.

Very nice radio. It has all the functions a person needs. it is my opinion that using a CD or even an MP3 in the shower is simply not practical so why pay for something you can’t or won't use. I have owned 2 Sony shower radios and neither lasted for than 15 months. I look forward to many years of usage of this fine piece of electronics. And to the other reviewer about low/soft volume level - mine is very loud, so much that my wife yells at me to turn my down. It would be great to have 6 presets per band instead of just 3.

I went all over looking for a shower radio. I love the digital tuner and that it has a clock/timer. I let the kids play with it in the bathtub and it holds up, I let them completely submerge it in the tub and it still works great. I carry it all around the house, it is small and convenient. Great for the beach or pool.

We use this radio every single day. Reception is always crystal clear. I love the standard clock and the fact that the radio is digital for fine tuning. You have a choice about either hanging it from the shower head or simply setting it on a shelf or ledge. It is perfect!!

Upgraded to this one after putting up with the cheap iSing $15 model for 10 months. Could not ask for anything more except a digital clock. I thought I would hate the analog clock, but it is surprising easy to read, even to the minute. Love the presets (a must have if more than one person uses the shower.) The 20 minute timer is an awesome feature. Great, loud, clear sound. Mine was missing a manual, but the Brookstone website had it on-line. The manual gave an incorrect procedure for setting the presets. (After tuning to the desired station, press M, then the desired preset button, then press M again.) Great purchase. (P.S. It does not tell you, but an AAA battery is required to run the clock.)

I got one of these as a present 3 years ago and used it until it died. Bought another, no others had preset buttons and I liked the sound of this one. Not the cheapest one around but a good value.

My husband loves this shower radio. He received one previously, but unfortunately knocked it off the wall and it shattered. I purchased another one for him for Father's Day. We love the features of this radio, particularly the automatic shut-off. This is the best shower radio that I have found for the price.

I needed a radio to listen to in the morning, and a good reliable clock. this fits everything except, I have it turned up at the loudest point and it is very soft! Once the water goes on, I can't hear. I read a review that this person takes it in the yard. Now i am wondering if my isn't defective. I will have to go back to the store. I would recommend this except for the sound factor. it is really nice and very well made! I love the timer feature too!
