Promised installation video is unavailable at manufacturer's website. Manufacturer has yet to respond to my request for a copy, so that installation has been delayed. Also reported missing set screws to Brookstone as well as manufacturer, with no results thus far.

I liked this design when I purchased, but after a few months it rusted on the ends. Unfortunately they will not give me a refund or gift card. I am very disappointed. (sent me a new one but I had already bought a replacement. NOW what do I do with this extra one?)

I love the idea and I bought and installed two of these. They are great - if they work.

The wall mounting brackets are much too small and their screws not far enough apart to hold the tremendous torque force placed on the mount by the horizontal curve.
Sheet rock is great for holding weight, but it doesn't hold torque.

If you have kids who like throwing wet, heavy bath towels over the curtain or pull and tug and the curtain, the dry wall anchors will erode lose over time and the curved rod will start to slouch and bucket-handle up and down.

Unless you have the luck to be able to screw it into a stud, this design is seriously flawed.

I like the extra towel rack. it doesn't stay up straight, my boyfriend put it up in our new house, and it leans towards the floor... its gives the illusion of a bigger shower. also do not get if your toilet is really close to your shower, when you use the toilet the curtain is basically on top of you.

We bought this for our daughter's bathroom and she loves it. It did take a few attempts to put it together but we thought we were too smart to read the directions first... that was a mistake. Once up, it is very sturdy. We used the included hardware, no issues there. The only reason I didn't give it a 5th star is because I would like it if the towel bar was a little more sturdy because we like to hang some of my daughter's jeans up to dry and I worry that more than a few pair of wet jeans would bend the towel bar... but then again, it is a towel bar, not a clothes hanging rod. My mother was visiting and said this setup allowed ALOT more space to shower. All in all this is a good product that I highly recommend! [...]

It was a little confusing at first how to install it. But soon enough, we figured out and drilled the rod into the wall.
I really like the extra room for the shower.
The only inconvenience I experience is the sticking out screws. I have not been able to find big shower curtain rings, so the one I own does not slide all the way far. The screws didn't go all the way in towards the rod base. :(
But overall I really like the extra room and the sturdiness.

This product performs as advertised. It costs a bit more than I think it should for a shower curtain rod, but the increase in space (via the curve) and in functionality (via the second rod) make it worthwhile. I figure if the cost is averaged over the length of time the rod will be in use, it will not be much after all. I have a small bathroom, and I definitely appreciate the extra elbow room when taking a shower. It makes the bathtub much more appealing.

It looks good but the there isn't enough space between the bars to easily hang a towel. The towel bar seems a little flimsy. Be aware of where the shower curtain will hang in your bathroom...it makes it feel more crowded than you might expect. Bottom line, my husband loves it and that is why we got it. I'm still not sure how I feel about it.

We took out our glass shower door since it was not functional with bathing our daughter. I am a big man and don't like the shower curtain clinging to me. Installation was a snap. I used 100lb drywall anchors instead of the plastic anchors it came with. My wife and I put it up in 20 mins. Make sure you know the length of your shower curtain. My wife slipped and grabbed the curtain and the bar didn't budge. I love the towel bar since it allows me to dry off in the tub. The only criticism I have is that the towel bar gives a little, in that you can't just grab and pull the towel since it is a curve it will rotate down a little but that is an engineering/physics issue. I thank Brookstone for carrying the product since I couldn't find a curved double rod anywhere.

I do love this shower rod however, I would put the towel rod on the inside. I toss my towel over the top so when I am finished I don't have to open the curtain and let the chilly air in. I also hang my wash cloth on the bar and if it was on the inside I would have easy access.
