The cover does not have tie straps to attach it to the chair. It only has elastic. Overall it is a nice cover but I would not recommended it for windy areas.

The cover is well made, HOWEVER, the description states that it secures to your chair with elastic and ties. This is not the case. It only has elastic around the bottom and does not have any ties to secure it to your chair (unlike the chaise lounge version). In a windy area the cover will easily blow off and the [$] cover will be gone. I've already lost one of mine and will now secure the remaining one with a bungee cord.

The covers are great! I bought three covers. My furniture is on my covered front porch and I use the covers whenever we aren't using the furniture because otherwise the furniture would fade from the sun. It's not a hassel to remove and replace the covers. Also, there is plenty of room. When I purchased my outdoor furniture I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to find covers to fit. These covers fit great. I also have an outman and to my surprise, I was able to cover both my chair and outoman. I didn't like the flowered, patterned side so I am using the plain, beige side.
