This product was a significant waste of money. I bought covers for all of my outdoor furniture last year and they have all cracked and have to be replaced. Brookstone is not willing to replace any of the items which I bought over one year ago even though they were bought in May of 2008 and it is June 2009.I am a long time customer and am extremely disappointed in their response.

I purchased this product last year, hoping to get my wooden patio set through the winter without overcrowding the shed. After the first rain, I noticed water seeped through the velcro closure in the top of the cover saturating the table top beneath it. The high backs of the chairs cause the cover to pool water. The cover is not strong enough to withstand more than a few pounds, and tore in multiple places. The tie-downs are positioned to catch the corner of the table, but are not long enough to reach when the chairs are in place. I added extra tie-downs, but this did not prevent the seeping, pooling and subsequent tearing of the material in windy periods. I am now considering separate chair covers with a table cover, but I am holding off due to the expense, and the fact I will now have to refinish the teak before I can use the table and chairs this season to remove the mold.

Sadly, within hours of putting it on my patio table and chairs, one of the ties totally ripped off in the wind. Needless to say, I was very disappointed.

Itsd hard to find a durable product to weather the cold in covering patio furniture. I returned this item becaused it riped after one week whrer the tops of chairs riped through top after a windy day. I am willing to pay more for better quality to endure weather conditions. The cover for chair is holding up less area to cover and less stress from wind.

We are using the cover for teak table, chairs, and bench. Since we have an asymmetrical assortment of the furniture, the cover isn't even around the bottom of the table/chair legs. The quality of the product is as expected and is worth the extra price to me. I would improve the product by adding grommets around the edge so that I could use bungee cords to secure the cover any way I wish. The traditional ties are somewhat limiting and I have to deal with water pooling in the cover between the chairs and the table.

Great product. In a rainy climate, these covers are a must. Only con I can think of is it's tough to position them so rain can run off furniture, and I wish the product were a bit more secure to furniture, especially in high winds.

The fabric is thin, so I'm not sure how it will last in the elements, and the ties are not located convienently for attaching to my four-chair set. Also, after being gone for a week, I came home to find a small pool of rain water on the cover, which left a pink stain on the cover after dumping off the water. Obviously the material is not bacteria resistant, so you have to be mindful to empty off any pooled water as soon as possible.

I ordered these covers recently for our patio furniture. I have a standard rectangular table that seats 6 people, but according to my measurements not even the largest rectangular cover would work with my table. However, after some thought and remeasuring, I figured that I could order the largest oval cover as long as I stored 2 of the 6 chairs somewhere else - the oval cover would only work with my table if I only covered it and 4 chairs. Unfortunately when the covers arrived, they didn't work out - there was too much work in trying to figure out where the exact center of the oval cover was so that it would cover the table and only 4 chairs evenly....Also, with DE getting some snow in the winter and there being a lot of sagging in the middle, we were concerned that the cover might tear when collecting the rain/snow in the middle area....The covers seems to be made pretty sturdy, but we weren't willing to take the chance, especially since these aren't cheap at [$].....Hopefully in a future catalog, we'll see a larger rectangular cover being offered for what is believed to be a pretty common/standard patio table these days.

We have had the largest size of this cover on our patio table for about 10 days now. It has been raining heavily for almost a week, and it has held up okay so far.We live in central CA, so the weather here is relatively mild in winter, mostly rain - no snow. I bought the cover to protect a rather expensive patio table + chairs from dust and sun fading and keep rain off in winter. On the plus side: price is right (we looked in to getting a custom Sunbrella fabric cover made[$] On the con side: material seems a little flimsy, so not sure how it will hold up in our 100+ degree summer heat, or how it would do under more severe winter conditions than we get around here; also, we have 6 chairs and it does not cover the table and chairs very much (I did pre-measure, but somehow it does not cover as much as the picture would lead you to believe). Better than nothing, but not as much protection as I had hoped.Overall, I would probably be happy if it keeps some of the elements off, and at less than [$], I guess I will just buy another if I can get a couple years out of this one.
