The reason I got this product it was to be able to reed in bed without disturbing my wife. It doesn’t work. Because the LED is not under a diffusing lens, the light comes harsh in one spot only and the rest of the page is dark making unable to read. This product clips easily to any book and it may last over 100,000 hours but it can not be used to read a single page!

This light is much too dim. It shines very little light on a book page..even when supplemented by the light of a lamp. I purchased this so I could read in bed without other lighting....not possible. In addition, it periodically turns itself off. I'm afraid I wasted my money on this one.

I purchased 2 of these booklights, one for myself and one as a gift. After using mine, I decided that there wasn't enough light to read & it wasn't useful to me. I returned both of them.
