This ePad was just exactly what I was looking for! It is the ideal workspace for your laptop computer. GREAT for when you are lounging on the sofa, sitting in bed, traveling, and more. This product is very durable, yet lightweight and quite comfortable. The ePad is far superior than using a pillow or something similiar, because unlike a pillow it allows your notebook to sit on a sturdy flat surface, allowing far better air circulation under & around the computer, thus preventing heat build-up as if it were on top of a pillow. The built-in handle is a nice touch too. My Brookstone store was out of the black color, so I ordered it online effortlessly. I am considering ordering a few more as these would make great gifts! Excellent quality & worth the moderate price. I use it every single day including right now.

After using the laptop desk the cushion was just as hot as the laptop. The description says it keeps you "cool and comfortable", but it did just the opposite.

This is a wonderful product. I use my laptop quite a bit but due to the heat, could not use it on my lap for long periods of time, with this, the time flies.

I wanted a lapdesk for my laptop as I often lie in bed while on the internet. It also needed a hard surface which would allow my laptop to have some ventilation and not overheat. Most lapdesk I looked at were way too big. I have a dell mini notebook and this particular one is perfect for it! It's also very comfortable with the padded cushion underneath. AND, every once in a while I use it as a regular desktop where I writing on a traditional notepad. AND, every now and then I use it as a dinner tray! It's just what I was looking for and more.

I bought this as a gift for my step dad who has everything. He uses his laptop from home all day preparing classes and grading papers. He loves it and will us it everyday. Didn't have to know a size or favorite color - would be great for a student too. I would recommend this product to my friends.

The best thing about this laptop desk is the convenient carry handle that disappears when not in use. It is also padded enough that keeps you feeling comfortable while using it.

I am a professional and travel a lot. I use my laptop in the airport, in my hotel room, in front of the TV at home, in the car (when someone else in driving) while waiting in an office for an appointment......and this "desk" is so neat. I keep it in my bag that I carry my laptop and files in and I can pull it out easily. It enables me to work at will without my laptop sliding off my lap or messing up my clothes. I store my charger underneath. I love this thing! I don't have to sit with my legs crossed in an un-ladylike position to balance it either!

I actually bought this for a gift, but the recipient says they love it and that it's very handy. I actually own the regular size e-pad lap desk, and while I love it, I think it's a little thick, so I bought the travel size one for someone else because it's thinner.

Even though this is billed as a Travel Laptop Desk, I bought it for home use so I cannot comment on how well it works on airplanes, etc. For use at home, it is great. My laptop tends to get hot and this provides some needed insulation. It sits comfortably on the lap, has a non-skid surface to keep the laptop from sliding and is wedge-shaped, so that the back is slightly higher than the front which makes for easier viewing and typing. I have used it sitting on the sofa watching TV and in my armchair with my feet up on an ottoman. The lap desk made it easy to use my laptop in both cases.
