I received this as a gift. The Brookstone website states this product is compatible with Macs as well as PC's. I have not been able to get this Be Digital Pocket Pix to function with my MacBook. I can't find further directions or figure out what program to open.

We bought this for my mother-in-law for Mother's Day and installed pictures of our children and grandchildren. There is plenty of room for the rest of her grandchildren. It fits nicely in her purse and now she can show off her babies .

The web description of this item says that it is Mac compatible. But it's not. It works using a .EXE executable that, as far as I can tell, can only be run in Windows. And the box only says Windows compatible (not Mac). Oh well, seems like a nice product but I've only got a Mac, so mine's going back to the store...

This product is pretty good for the price, but the picture is not nearly as clear as the one in the example. It's fuzzy and low in pixels. However, I bought it for my husband so he could have a portable way to show off digital photos of our daughter, and he loves it. If you're looking for great photo quality, skip this product. But if you're just looking for an easy, portable way to carry digital pics, it's great.

This is SO easy to use. It is fast to add pics and they look fabulous (just as good as the illustration). Obviously for best effect you should crop to mostly close ups, but the resolution is surprisingly good for larger pictures too. Options for > 8MB in the future would be nice, but really how many photos do you need to whip out of your wallet?
