Tire Minder valve caps monitor factory specified tire pressure for your vehicle so you stay safe on the road.

Tire Minder replaces your valve caps, and tracks your tire pressure with bright color indicators.
Green indicator means tire pressure is safe. Red indicator means danger. Tire Minders are made to match the front and rear pressure as recommended by the vehicle manufacturer, and are accurate to within 1 lb. Available for most cars, minivans, motorcycles, SUVs and light trucks 1/2 ton and under.

Tire Minders are easy to use—just three simple steps.

Start by filling your tires to the recommended pressure.
The proper pressure is in your owner's manual or on one of the doorjambs of your vehicle.

Replace your valve caps with Tire minders.
If the tire pressure drops by approximately 4 lbs., you will see the green indicator begin to disappear. Add air pressure as soon as possible.

Continue to check the color indicators in your Tire Minders on a regular basis.
If tire pressure drops to approximately 6-8 lbs. below normal, the green indicator will disappear and only a red indicator will be visible. Inflate the tire to the recommended pressure immediately to prevent poor gas mileage, handling problems and excessive tire wear. Not for use with stem extenders.

Important
If your vehicle has a built-in Tire Pressure Monitoring System (usually 2007 or newer models) you should NOT add TireMinders® as they are not compatible with the valve stems.

Very simple to use.
Order it for your car (they ask specifics needed).
Check tire pressure and adjust it if needed.
Stick the Tire Minders in place of the caps on the wheels.
As long as they are green, you are set to go.
If you start seeing red, first check the tire pressure. If the tire pressure is OK and you still see red, it is time to replace the Tire Minders.
DO NOT keep the Tire Minders on for inspections or other car work - unless they need replacing - becuase mechanics often throw them out and put regular caps on.

THESE THINGS WORK GREAT! BUT, IF YOU GO TO AN AUTOMATIC CAR WASH, TAKE THEM OFF! I WENT TO ONE YESTERDAY AND WHEN I CAM OUT I HAD 3 FLAT TIRES! THE RAILS OR THE WHEEL BRUSHES BROKE THE CAPS AND STEMS RIGHT OFF OF 3 TIRES! 360.00 DOLLARS LATER ( MY CAR HAD THE STEMS WITH THE SENSORS) JUST NOTE TO SELF, TAKE THEM OFF BEFORE GOING INTO A CAR WASH!!!!!!

This is great product. I never used to make time to check my tire pressure, even though I knew I should. Now I do not have to drive around with that guilty feeling any longer. This tells me exactly which tires need air & which ones are right on target. I now know when I take a trip I can rest assure that my tire pressure is just where it should be. When you purchase this item you will be asked to specify your exact car model, year & make. It is not necessarily just a universal fit since each tire on each car needs a specific amount of air pressure. The gauges come specified exactly for your car. This make me feel even better knowing that I have a custom fitted gauge on my tires. I am very glad I purchased this product. What a find, it is always great to find even the smallest things to make life a little simpler.

The top of the little item is plastic, if for some reason it is damaged and cracks...there goes your tire pressure. Not very helpful.
