I reviewed other comments regarding this product, so I was aware of its limitations. Specifically, it does not provide a really deep massage. But it does provide a really nice light massage with heat. I definitely like this product.

I gave my boyfriend this message chair topper for our first Christmas together and it made for a great gift. We have both enjoyed the chair version, but since this was our first Christmas, the chair topper was appropriate. We both enjoy the chair topper. He loves to use it in his recliner chair or lay it flat on the sofa. I would recommend this item to a friend and other.

I hate the shiatsu massagers, so I ordered this vibrating chair topper model. I use it everyday, and it definitely helps relieve my lower back pain. The main drawback is the limited functions. It is also a bit large for my body (I am 5'4") so the targeted regions don't quite hit where they should. However this is easily fixed by shifting my body to the appropriate massaging spots. I also think it would be better suited for a recliner type chair, as I have it laying flat on a couch and it is a bit awkward. Otherwise, I highly recommend it for the average person.

I think the product itself is great - it would be nice it were a little bit stronger as opposed to the vibration. I love having it fill up the entire lounge chair.

I purchased this for one of my parents who is 83 yrs old. She has occasional flair ups of lower back, neck, and hip pain. She has had good results with the massage pad and seems to find it relaxing, and warming. She says that it does relieve muscle and back pain for her and that was all I could hope for.

After a long day at work my husband will come home and relax in his recliner with the massage lounge topper. Depending on how stressful his day he may use only the upper massage without heat. Some days he will use the heat and massager full body. He has not made one single complaint about the massager. I made a good choice in getting him this for Christmas!

The unit was nice to lay on but the massage was just not deep enough. It was just a light vibration with limited heat. When I reclined in the chair my legs would not stay on the lower portion of the topper. The topper narrows as it goes towards the feet which causes your feet to fall off either side.

The product made sitting in the chair uncomfortable. Made you sit too high in the chair. Did not give a good lumbar massage.

It just vibrates. I can't tell if the heat is working on my unit. However, it does vibrate head to toe. I currently have it in a recliner but think it might work better lying flat on the floor.

Well made, nice covering but that's not what we purchased. We wanted a full body massage chair and this is a vibrating chair cushion. No sore muscles relieved but it did remind me of those magic fingers beds in hotel rooms of old.

The areas of the body it targets are good, but most people would use this product on a recliner, since it is so long. It is a little too bulky, and fairly thick, is not quite as comfortable as it might appear in the picture in the catalog.

The pocket to put the remote control for the massager it the cleverest. We have had it such a short time, but we have used it daily. I highly recommend this particular lounge massager.

I use this product after i come home from a long day and relax. The reason i gave it only 3/5 stars is because i would like more or a massage and not only vibrate. It does has the amount of power you want the massage to be, but it's only vibrating. I would recommend this to people who need stress relievers.

I bought the massage Lounge Topper as gift for may parents in Virginia. They were both complaining about back pain and discomfort, especially my father. I knew they had a recliner and was glad to find out that there was such a thing made especially for it. They love it,can't keep Daddy off of it. Mother has to wait until he goes outside so she can use it. They use it on the couch or on the bed, oh they think they're in heaven. Thank you Brookstone for such a great product.

I bought this product for my 87 year old grandfather - he loves it. It helps with his arthritis and other aches and pains. It is easy to use, the heat is a great feature and fits perfectly on his chair.

We use this product to massage muscles after a workout and also my husband has arthritis in his neck, shoulder and lower back. The heat and massage help ease the stiffness in these problem areas. It conforms to his recliner chair unlike others that do not fit properly.

I gave the full seat topper to my mother and the topper sans leg message to her partner (both in their 80s). They love them! My mom has leg and back problems and says the message and heat really help her. Her partner uses his both in the car and in the house. The only thing I can say is "wrong" with them is that both my mom and her partner would like to keep the heat and message on longer! My son tried both toppers out before we gave them as Christmas presents and is definitely getting one for his office.

The cushion part of this product is of excellent quality and has a great cushion. HOWEVER, the "massaging" part of this product was very disappointing. All it does is vibrate - lightly. My seven year old provides a better back massage than this product. If you are looking for a gentle vibration massage then this product is for you. I was looking for something more pronouced by way of the massage provided and this product fell short.

This is nice and works well on my recliner. I wish it had the shiatsu function, but it's still very nice. I take it off the recliner when I'm not using it because it feels a bit odd sitting on top of it when its not on. The heat function is a nice feature even though you can't use it without the massage.

This product is extremely versatile and does the job, but I was hoping for a more than a vibrating massage. I would have preferred a deep penetrating massage. The heating element is a nice touch and works great! Overall, I would recommend it, but if you're looking for a deep massaging tool, this is not the one for you.

The size (width and length) was great! I purchased this as a gift for my father, who is very tall.

However, the vibration was very weak. While it was soothing, I didn't think it would do much good actually relaxing tense muscles. I have another Brookstone version that is stronger, which I prefer.

I bought this product for my husband, who suffers from a work injury. This has improved his comfort level quite a bit, is portable and feels wonderful ( I've tried it myself). The massage levels are good, you can fell it on the whole body, the heat is penetrating the muscles and it is overall a wonderful product. Thank you.

Its very easy to use but if you want an intense professional massage, this would not be for you, this is more for relaxing in front of the television. It has vibration and heat mode so its great for a little loosening up of muscles.

I ordered this item specifically for the heat function which turned out to be quite poor. I can barely feel it. I was very disappointed and don't consider this product worth the money I paid for it. In addition the massage control is mis-programmed so if I want to activate a specific area I have to use the incorrect button.

I bought this for my dad because he didn't have room for a massage chair (full sized) and those can be expensive. This cushion lays on top of his favorite recliner and gives him a good massage. My mom likes the heated function when its coldin the winter. The quality is really good and the remote is easy to use.
