The grip isnt big enough, it feels cheap, i feel like i would break my fingers if i tried to lift 75lb with three fingers like the design allows. I got this as a gift and ill be returning it and buying another brand's scale that has a full hand handle.

With tighter weight restrictions on flights, using this scale to pre-weigh bags and re-distribute weight can save you money on baggage fees. It is light weight, small and seems accurate. The only flaw I've found is that the battery cover does not fit well.

I got this because I do a lot of traveling and with the new lower luggage weights it's a lot easier to know if you are overweight before you get to the airport. If you shop and are staying in a hotel I'm not always sure I'm under the limit and this travel scale is a great solution. This scale works as described. My only complaint is that is hard for one person alone to read the display if you are holding a large bag. It doesn't lock in the number so I have to hold the bag up while trying to bend over and see what the readout is. It needs a lock in the weight button on it.

My husband and I have come close to divorce on many vacations when we arrive at the airport only to find bags are overweight, and have to repack on the floor of the airport, all the while arguing about unnecessary items that were packed in suitcases. This scale has allowed us to know in advance our baggage limits, particlarly as airlines have become stricter with their regulations. Now we are prepared, and are able to check our baggage without incident.
