The ONLY thing that I don't care for is that we will need to purchase replacement parts after only doing approximately 50 repairs - I would like the original parts to last longer than that. But, it's still far less expensive than replacing DVDs, CD, and computer games.

I was excited to receive this product to see if it could deliver what what stated it could do. It does. It has taken many scratches out of our DVDs. I wish it had included at least one replacement disk ( orange part). That would have been great. I was worried about the solution that you need to have, (needing replacing it), only to read the ingredients and see it was only water with a litte alcohol as a preservative. So that is simple enough! I was pleasantly suprised to find an ac adapter included with the product. That was unexpected after all of the reviews about it using up batteries quickly.

IT NOW COMES WITH THE AC ADAPTER!!! This product is wonderful. Its simple and easy to use. It is easy to set up and only takes a short one minute to repair a disk. We have some horribly scratched DVD's. My 8 year old son is mentally handicapped and loves to hold the DVD's. He sneaks them out of the player when we are not looking and will carry them around, drop them, set them down. He is very hard on them. I have several DVD's that are his favorites that just wouldnt play anymore. I thought I was going to have to throw them away. I have repaired all of them. This little machine is a breeze to use. Yes there is wear and tear on it, but it will easily do 50 DVD according to the instructions and there are replacement parts if need be. But honestly, this machine pays for itself in 3 DVD's being repaired.What an absolute lifesaver!!! I love it.

I didn't realize how much the system scratches the CD. The water you use to lubricate cds to repair must eventually be replaced. The sandpaper that "repairs" the cd also will eventually need replacing. The water does get messy so be sure to lay out paper towels. Kind of loud and its not easy to store away. I suppose it does what its supposed to but definitely not what I expected.

My rock band disc had a few deep scratch, the game was still readible and was able to play a few songs but other songs it received errors. That is why I purchased this to repair the disc.

After, I used this repair system, my Rock Band disc is now UNREADIBLE. My Xbox 360 won't even read it now. I sprayed the fluid until the play side of disc is wet at each spot and then stick the disc in. The disc looks like a car was washed with dish soap, it looks bad now.

My rock band disc seems to work fine now. I posted a review earlier and gave it a 1/5 but when I got this game to work with my xbox360, it deserves a 5/5.

The problem is, I had white markings from the repair system, maybe because I didn't put enough liquid and I used the white pad to buffer it.
All I did was to use more liquid and wipe all the liquid with the included cloth after using the repair system.

My disc seems to read from the XBOX 360 just fine, and the songs I couldn't choose because of the disc error has now disappeared. I apologize for my pre-mature review earlier. This is a great product.

This works great on our grandson's (10 and autistic) DVD's. He thinks he must handle all of his DVDs when he is choosing which one to watch. They end up with surface scratches and lots of fingerprints. This gadget has successfully cleaned and repaired several of his DVD's. I would recommend it to anyone who is just wanting to clean surface scratches. Not sure how it works on deep scratches.

We bought this as we were getting many scratched, skipping DVDs from Netflix that the DVD cleaner wasn't able to fix. This does a better job. We have had one DVD that it wasn't able to fix entirely, but it's better than the cleaner, and made it at least watchable (quit hanging). The batteries start to go almost immediately though. They already sounded like they were juiced out after 2 uses! Oh, and you need a screwdriver to get into the battery compartment (hate that). Get the power adapter. Shame you have to order that separately.

This product is great for fixing scratches on almost all CDs and DVDs apart from the seriously damaged and scratched ones. There were several CDs I thought were lost forever due to scratches but the cleaner fixed and repaired them regardless. The battery life is short however, so it would be nice if the manufacturer included the AC adapter with the system, even for an extra 5 bucks.

This is a great product. It has fixed probably 50 cds and dvds in our house that have been "played with" by a four year old. I haven't found one yet that it can't fix. What's not included in the directions nor mentioned on your site is that there are two other items that come with this product; a drying/polishing cloth and another item, a thick pad. I use the cloth to dry the cds after I take them out of the unit and follow-up with the thick pad. The latter also helps to 'erase' the marks left by the wheel.

Also, the wheel is warped...it spins with a wiggle. Fortunately it doesn't seem to affect the results. I've done several cds...even run through blank cds I found sitting around that were lightly scratched. All of the cds I've done have improved quality and the blank cds I've done have recorded tracks as if there hadn't been any scratches on them at all.

The DVD Repair System was given to our Son-In-Law as a Christmas Gift. I have used other CD repair units but they were not very effective. They were also difficult and tedious to use. This unit is fantastic! I repaired 10 CD's in my first use!!!! I easily saved about $150.00 or more in replacement costs. It was easy to use and left a highly polished surface on my old and scratched CD's with little effort on my part. Other units leave polish marks that have to be polished out by hand when they come out of the machine. Don't look any further. You need this unit to repair those unplayable CD's that are laying around the house. The only drawback is that an AC adapter was not included. I hate dealing with batteries.

This product didn't work that well. We tried one game that had a minor scratch and wouldn't play and the DVD doctor did not remove it or make the game able to play. Again, way too much money for something that doesn't work that well.

Reasonably priced to save your CD's DVD's etc. However as stated in the instructions, it will not fix big nicks, or big scratches.
