It's equipped with both a CD recorder and a USB port, so you can save your favorite 33 1/3, 45 and 78 rpm albums two ways—onto a CD with the press of a button, or as digital MP3 files via your computer. And the sound quality is great too, thanks to a built-in preamp, universal stylus and premium tonearm.

Makes it easy to get professional results

You can edit music through the turntable—you don't have to hook up your computer to get great audio. Plus, the turntable lists album, artist and song titles for instant archiving, and automatically detects the silence between tracks. I was excited to see this product on the market. Growing up in the 60's, I spent a lot of my money on vinyl records. Now with this device, I can listen to all my music on my IPOD. Two things to note: you have to stay with the device when you are recording (and pay attention), and it takes a while for the software to recognize the songs and artists you are recording. This is a very small price to pay for the countless hours that you have to listen to ALL your music

Some of my old LPs have been reissued on CD. A lot of them have not been. With the LP 2 CD, I no longer have to wait. I can convert my LPs to CD myself right now, in just three easy steps. And I don't have to be a recording technician. The turntable and software does all the hard work for me—it’s the easy way to save old LPs. I just sit back and enjoy.
