I use this to clean and dry both my dogs' feet. At 182 lbs Louie (South African Boerboel) has 4 x 5inch feet. While I re landscape to accommodate him this cuts down on the dirt and mud in the house. I taught him to wipe his feet whenever he comes in. I use a second one to provide traction at the bottom of the stairs. We have 14 in smooth tile floors. After an A.C.L. injury at 1 yr old my Surgeon DVM recommended I put some type of traction mats down where ever he lays to protect the opposite A.C.L.(Anterior Crushiate Ligament). These have worked great. After one month there is no visible wear/unraveling.
