We put this mat our front door and it has been great for protecting our hardwood floor underneath from the mud, snow and salt outside. We have a dog who is always coming in with muddy paws. It has been great when we have friends over, they have somewhere to put their shoes if they take them off. It was a little more than we wanted to spend for a front door mat, but it is well worth it. I liked that we could choose the size from a WIDE variety of sizes. Good color selection for the rug.

I hesitated over this purchase because of the price, but look around and you will not find a custom size in this price range.
I had been using two rugs to cover my entry way and it looked awful. Now I have the perfect size to protect my hardwood floor and I'm so glad I "splurged." It looks great. I'm very pleased with the quality.

We live in Boston and with our snowy winters it has been tremendously helpful with keeping our house clean. We have the mat at our main entrance way and we no longer have issues with tracking snow, dirt or salt throughout the house from our shoes. I highly recommend this product.

We bought this rug because we did not want to have the outside elements on the 50 year old oak floor. After buying other throw rugs to keep the floor dry from rain and snow we quickly discovered we needed a better rug.

I am amazed that nothing gets past this rug. Not grass, stones, saw dust, bird seed...nothing. These are really worth the money. They are pricey but well worth it. I'm not sure how to wash them but when needed I will probably put them in my front load washer. At first glance it looks very stiff and unpliable but when I touched it (my husband took it out of the box upon arrival) I discovered it will probably be okay to wash it in my front loader. I will also be buying some for my business.

Glad I purchased this item before the artic weather set in this winter. My front entry way has always had a problem with residual ice during the winter. Really does a fabulous job of limiting the ice that remains.

I use this over hardwood floors to protect them from muddy paw prints and footprints from the yard. It is absolutely the best mat I have tried so far. It is very attractive and has brought more than one compliment.

I have this rug at my back door, where the dogs come in and out. It's really good at trapping snow so that they don't track it all over the house--I'm eager to see if it works as well when the spring rains come. The one thing that isn't so great is that, because it has so many "channels" to trap the water, it also holds debris (pieces of leaves, for example) and doesn't vacuum easily.

With three large dogs who regularly track in mud, snow, and various other unwelcome substances, I have spent way too much time mopping up floors. The waterhog, finally, has put an end to that. Not only is it attractive enough to leave out all the time, it really does trap whatever they track in. By the time they reach the end of the mat, their paws are dry. I'm ordering more.

This rug is used as a runner between the cars in the garage. It lays perfectly flat,is an attractive color and pattern, and makes our garage safe from slipping especially in the wet winter months. Our floor was recently coated and painted, and with certain shoes you could slip. Now I don't worry.I couldn't be more pleased with this rug. You can easily vacuum it too.

The rainy Spring months might be the true test, but so far these rugs do a great job of getting my dogs' paws clean. Also, the rugs seem to be durable enough to keep the dogs from trying to chew. I didn't rate it as a good value because I don't know yet how long they will last, and they were fairly expensive.

I use this in the entryway to the laundry room from the garage, the door the kids use to enter the house, with 3 boys and 2 being football players, this rug holds up to all the abuse they give it. It always looks great, vaccums easily, never slips and leaves plenty of room for people to enter and have somewhere to put their shoes. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

The rug is used in the back door hallway. I have 3 dogs, complete with dirty feet. Since the rug is 6' long, the dirt and leaves are off their feet before they reach the kitchen tile. Good at trapping excess water from dog and human feet/shoes.

My dog's food/water station is located in the kitchen. Every time she drinks, water keeps dripping onto kitchen tiles while she keeps walking toward the kitchen exit from her station.
I was afraid somebody could fall on those wet tiles with water not being even clearly visible on them, and we were constantly "on guard" with the towel. Then I saw this rug and realized it might be perfect to cover the space between dog's water station and kitchen exit, so that water drips on it and gets absorbed. Indeed, it works perfectly, can be easily cleaned and very durable.
I can now relax and not constantly watch the dog as she enters the kitchen.

Purchased this product because found it difficult to find a runner in the exact size I wanted. But if you're looking for a bare-foot friendly or attractive rug, this isn't a good choice. Great for a garage or utility room, but not anywhere you want decorative runner or want to walk over in bare feet. Good product otherwise!

This mat is much thicker and sturdier feeling than any mat I have felt in stores. It costs considerably more, but there are not many mats that boast antibacterial qualities and come in virtually any size you please! We use it under our dog bowls and so far its done a great job at keeping our floors clean & dry. The mat itself has also stayed surprisingly clean and dry!

At first I was a little disappointed when I received my rugs because I was expecting a more decorative rug that you can put anywhere in the house. However, when I decided to put it in my laundry room that is right by the garage, I couldn't of asked for a better carpet rug. It seriously grabs dust, lint, dirt, water, and keeps it on the rug until you either shake it out or vacuum it. Needless to say, it keeps our tiled floor a lot cleaner throughout the house. It is a great product!

I ordered the Warthog runner for the unique size -3 x 3 and the water retention ability. Both aspects have been exactly what I wanted. The size is perfect and it truly does retain water and trap dirt. It looks somewhat industrial but is worth it.

As I said in the cons the color is not navy. But it looks fine. My husband tracks in all kinds of little stones and rocks and the mat is catching it all. I just shake it outside. It was a good purchase and I would recommend it.

Placed a mat at the front door and sliding glass door entrances. I live with 2 large dogs and 2 large messy, bachelor roommates (well one large and one small). My Spanish Tile and wood floors were getting ruined. Thankfully these mats keep a lot of the dirt and mud from being tracked into my house. Makes cleaning much easier and protects the floors.

My daughter and two dogs are staying with me for a few months. These rugs have been so wonderful with the dogs going in and out. No worries about mud or water on the floors once you have tracked over a waterhog! Stay where you put them also, do not slide around.

This is a great product. Totally soaks up the water. Avoids ice on the steps. I wish it would dry a bit faster, but that is probably because we get so little sun on that side of the house!

The color-fast mat looks brand new after cleaning, The custom sizes are made to fit your exact specifications. I have them inside some doors and outside other doors. Wouldn't be without them. They come in colors to match any decor.

WE LIVE IN AN AREA THAT GETS FREQUENT RAIN. WE USED TO HAVE TO PUT TOWELS DOWN ON THE FLOOR TO KEEP THE MUD IN ONE AREA FROM MY DOGS. NOW THIS RUG DOES THE JOB FOR ME. I WAS A BIT WORRIED IT MIGHT BE HARD TO CLEAN BUT I HAVE TO DO IS RUN THE VACCUUM OVER IT AND IT LOOKS LIKE NEW.

We use this in a high traffic area - the doorway to the garage, our main entrance to the house. It does a great job of trapping dirt. Sometimes difficult to clean dirt, lint from the crevices but worth the extra few minutes with the vacuum.

Great Product. With our 13-year-old triplets the mud, snow, dirt and sand seem to flow into my house all the time. With the WaterHog Runner, they can take off and put their shoes on it and it does the rest. Run the vacuum over it or take it outside and skoot with hose.
