This rug is sturdy and substantial, but I ordered the green one and the color is not as it appears on the web. It's not a dark green, but brighter, almost a Kelly green. I will be repainting the trim and monogram.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for a person who "has everything." But he does not have a personal foot mat at his door, and he is proud of his last name, so this seemed to be a perfect gift. My only disappointment was that there is overspray of the green paint (ink?) in the name and in the border. It is not as crisp and as clear as the catalog photo. I may try to work with the fibers involved.
