After reading positive consumer reviews of this product online, I indulged and bought it. If I run my hand over the mattress pad I can feel the wires, but I never notice them when I'm lying down. The lowest of the 10 settings is fine for sleeping with and the highest is great for warming up the bed initially. With three zones per person, it's possible to get just the heat you want. I often use the middle zone for my back instead of a heating pad. I now prefer this over an electric blanket. The cordless control is especially convenient and the backlight switches off after a short time. Well worth the money if bought on sale.

Heat is often recommended to soothe aches, pains and stiffness. This mattress pad lets you enjoy heat therapy exactly where and how much you need it. Two people can even have totally different settings, yet still sleep in perfect comfort in the same bed. And the wireless controller is such a godsend—no more tripping over the cord, or wrapping it around the bed, or pulling on the mattress pad, or trying to shut the nightstand drawer on the cord…what a relief!
