I often walk @ night because of my schedule and my neighborhood is especially dark due to lack of street lights. My dog's lighted leash guarantees that cars can see me on the sidewalks and it provides me some light on extra dark streets. My only complaint is the pulsating light is hard on the eyes. I can't look down at it while I'm walking or else I will get a headache. Other than that, I love it!!! People stop me all the time on the street and tell me that they like my leash. My response, "Brookstone...online!"

The leash is very well made and the lights flash rather than displaying a solid light, which will allow you to be seen at night. A couple of improvements would be the option for a solid light, and an adjustable length. 4' is a little on the short side depending on how active your dog is, or how tall you are. May be helpful for keeping your dog close by and out of the way of oncoming traffic though.
