The translations are great however it is extremely difficult to understand audio in order to model pronunciation of words accurately. Audio voice is too robotic sounding and unclear. For the price of this product, it should sound much better. Other functions work well.

This product is most useful in teaching Spanish to multicultural students in college in the US who are on our soil for the first time. It enables them and me to cross language barriers so that we both can come to common ground in my classroom.

There is nothing worse than looking at a word in a foreign language (or a phonetic “translation”) and trying to figure out how you’re supposed to say it. As any child will tell you, it’s so much easier to imitate correct pronunciation that you can hear—and that’s what this device lets you do. Plus, with 14 languages that cover Europe and Asia, this is the only language aid you’ll need!
