Don't waste your time & money

Bought 4 of these thinking they'd be great for my nephews. I tested one before giving them as gifts and took them back as the product doesn't work as advertised. Goes up and crashed back down; the controls don't make sense as they don't work. I'm surprised Brookstone would sell this!

This never worked.. I tried charging it with the remote AND computer but the battery never held enough of a charge to even light up the LED lights on the UFO (You could barely see them flicker when the house lights were turned off). It never moved at all. Even the supplied USB charging cable lit up red to show it was charged when the battery in the UFO was 90% dead! Taking it back tomorrow. The plastic is so cheaply made that a drop from 4 feet high would probably destroy it. I expected more "quality control" from Brookstone :(

My 7 yr old girl and 10 yr old boy got this from Santa for Christmas love it. They play with it at least 5 days a week. Both caught on really quick to word setup, control, and stable flight. I love that you don't need to worry about flying left and right. The purpose of this toy is the fun messages and stable, easy flight. My son hit it with a nerf dart and knocked off a propeller, but I re-attached and glued and it still works !

Got this as a holiday gift from a friend, had fun for about ten minutes until it totally broke. Took back to brookstone and am now on my THIRD toy because my first two broke within ten minutes of being unboxed. Worst gift ever would not recommend to anyone.

I gave this to my husband for Christmas. After reading the instructions and trying an initial liftoff, he could not get it off the ground. He changed the batteries, too.

Beware when buying this product. My son was so disappointed!!! the round spinning part is cheap and does not stay in place!!!! It does not fly up high at all!!!!!

The sky writer took off and the banner was readable, but one set of propellers didn't wotk at all and the other set lost a blade within minutes of gentle use.

As soon as I saw this product I knew my son would love it. I gave it to him for Christmas and it was a hit. He loved the fact that a message could be sent on it. Unfortunately it only lasted one day. It was so disappointing. It seemed very flimsy and delicate. We were not able to control its flight direction at all. The controls help it to go up and down, but since there were no controls to make it go forward or back it constantly knocked into things which caused it to break very quickly. So now I owe him another present.
