Overall, it made coffee making easy/simple... don't have to watch for any spills for example in the microwave, the stove etc. So, for someone like me who drinks about a half cup each time, its perfect.. because if I make a whole cup, that would be good for two people who drink like me. I've also made tea w/ it!!! just pour the water in the back compartment as usual and just put a teabag in place of the coffee powder w/ the tag sticking out of course.
One main Con I've noticed however is that once i make a cup of coffee, it cannot seem to make a another cup of coffee immediately after. Its as though it needs a lag time between each time i make a cup, maybe for it to cool down etc... but that can be a major nuisance. I hope they look into this problem to keep this item as easy usable.

I've looked and looked for a single serving coffeemaker. I happened upon this and looked for reviews or comments or something about the size of the cup - to no avail so I tried it anyways. It is much smaller than it looks in the pictures. This makes only about an 8oz cup of coffee. Way too small for me. I was actually pretty upset that this information is NO where to be found.

We just bought our 4th coffee maker as a gift for an elderly relative who loves it for its ease. Our first one we bought 4-5 years ago & it's still going strong. The next 2 were for daughters off to college. We will be buying another one, because when our one daughter came home from college, her brother stole it from her when he moved to IL, so now she is moving to TN & doesn't want to live without it. I'm not a coffee drinker myself, but everyone else says it makes a great tasting cup of coffee in that the maker itself, unlike some other models, doesn't negatively affect the flavor (no metal taste, etc.)

I bought this because I live alone, and I've always liked the idea of making one cup at a time. Also, I thought it would look great in my mostly stainless steel kitchen, and it does! But I was REALLY surprised at the quality of the coffee it makes, and would have a hard time living without it. My only complaint is that I can't buy a replacement cup.
I always take one along (I have two) when I travel by car, even on two-week trips. It's easy to pack, and I can make MY coffee wherever I am: it's like taking a little of home with me.

I use this little coffee maker every day. It's convenient, quick and makes a good up of coffee. I bought it because my sister had one, and the brewing time was fast. I've had a few leaks, but that's because I filled it past the fill line. It's one of the things I would change - the fill line is very hard to see. I use a little flashlight I keep nearby when pouring the water. I wish the unit could accommodate a larger mug. It's a little pricey, but worth the convenience.
