I purchased this radio for the shower in our Master Bathroom. I really liked the digital tuning and pre-sets. Also, the 20 minute timer is handy - you can turn it on and it will shut itself off. The only drawback to this item is the weight. It is heavy and I ended up putting it in a different spot than I wanted so that I could use the anchor cord with it in case it fell. That is the only drawback and it has been a great radio for the shower.

It leaked, basically the bottom inch of the radio was full of water, destroying the batteries. Since I am an engineer, I repaired it myself. What I found was the typical "one ceramic filter AM, one FM" design. FM reception could be a lot better if they installed a 150 kHz ceramic filter instead of 280 kHz. Since the only station I am interested in is 90 miles away crammed against a local, that is not a big limitation for most users. A narrow 150 kHz filter installed, the FM is now great! More troubling is the undersized, vertically mounted AM ferrite bar. It is not adequate even for locals, some of which are across the metro area and weak. Horizontally mounting a larger ferrite bar, all local stations now strong, and regionals up to 250 miles away are also receivable. I installed a better AM ceramic filter as well, which helped a lot. Now all stations I am interested in are receivable. The water leak is more troublesome, I have yet to find the gasket failure point. So I moved it where it will not get direct water exposure.

Comments about Shower Radio:
We use this radio on our shower wall. Pros: My favorite station is clear. It helps us keep track of time. It has a timer to turn itself off. Cons: DO NOT rely on the suction cup alone for support of the radio on the wall. My husband used a waterproof silicone glue on the suction and painters tape to hold the suction/hook in place for 24 hours before attaching the radio to it. It worked perfectly. Overall, a great radio for its' price.

Overall, good value and I'm satisfied. I would prefer a digital clock over the analog, but this is just personal preference. The analog does keep good time.

Comments about Shower Radio:
Far superior to the small one we used before. Like the rod antenna, presets for stations, and the ease of use. Very nice sounding unit. Would prefer a 2-suction cup mounting so be sure to use the loop wire holder over the shower pipe to be sure it won't drop if suction cup hold releases.

Comments about Shower Radio:
Keep it in the bathroom. Great looking, easy to change stations. I wish you made a smaller one.
