I ordered one set and like it so much that I have ordered another set. The finish is attractive, the tables are sturdy, the cast iron legs are graceful. Overall, an excellent buy for tables that have multiple uses throughout the home. I use the larger one as a plant stand, the smaller one as a side table beside a sofa, and will be using the two smallest tables as speaker stands in our home media room. Two reservations only: 1. A few of the boards that make up the tops of the tables are joined together with a kind of interlocking jagged edge (see photo) which, though sanded smooth, isn't very attactive - but I have put plants or coasters over those places. 2. Assembling the tables required positioning the legs on penciled marks on the bottom, marking the screw holes, and drilling. So there is some very minimal carpentry skill needed. Easy enough to do, and worth the effort.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
