Don't Do It - get a 20" Dash instead

I wanted something that would allow me to take my laptop out of my shoulder bag and still be quick/simple going through security at the airport. I thought this would be perfect but I was wrong! Once the computer and chargers go in, there isnt alot of room left on the "office side" for much other than files (no planner, no manuals etc.) The tracks for the metal bars/ handles take up alot of the room in the "suitcase side" leaving little space for much more than a t-shirt! The suitcase is heavier than I expected it to be given it's size when it is empty so imagine what it is like when it is full. It technically fits in the overhead bin but who can lift it?!!
Lastly is the fact that it does not have the bi-directional wheels. I have one of the upright Dash suitcases and love these wheels - I thought I would be ok without that feature given all of the other features that I thought I was gaining with the rolling suitcase bag. I was wrong again - because it is so heavy, it needs the bi-directional wheels - without them it is harder to maneuver & puts strain on your back &/or hip to drag it. I have only carried this bag on one business trip and that was plenty - I will be returning it and going back to my 20" dash while I continue the search for a decent rolling office!!

They could hang back a bit on touting the bag's capacity. Beyond a laptop, files, a camera. book and a limited number of essentials, that's basically all it holds. It's lightweight, looks good and is easy to carry around. I can live with it, but don't think its going to contribute much to your baggage carrying ability. It doesn't take long before its chockfull.

I will be using this case when I travel on Business to transport both my business laptop and my 17" personal laptop, and both fit very easily. I like it because it fits easily in the overhead compartment of most airplanes. Since this is a hard sided case, it will not expand like other comptuer cases do, which makes it hard to fit in some overhead bins.
