I enjoy the light - the brightness is very cheery. On a negative note, The buttons are situated at the base of the product and they are hard to see. The product is so light weight that you have to hold it with one hand in order to press a button or else the light slides. If it was heavier, you could press the buttons with only one hand. Also, the sounds aren't as good as the Hoemetic sound machine - these sounds have music in the background which is distracting.
All in all, I would not recommend.

Even on the dimmest setting the clock light is way too bright at night. We have to shut off the light but then if you wake you can't see the time. we set up another clock to see the time which seems silly but it was too bright to sleep. not wild about the combo sounds and music. i wish you had the option of just the birds not birds & music. i found it annoying. all in all though i like the "rising" in the morning.

I use it when I go to sleep and as a wake up tool. At night, I like the timer to have it run a certain amount of time shutting itself off.I wake up so much more relaxed than with the alarm/radio; from the very first day! Great mini spa feeling when running it while soaking in the tub.

This works very well, it provides a nice warming light and eases you awake. The only gripe I have is that while they have natural sounds - the ocean for example - they have some dodgy music along with it. The sounds themselves would be better.

Come fall I have a terrible time waking up in the morning when it is so dark. I try to get up and exercise but I didnt want to wake up. I was too cheap last year to buy it, now it is very dark again in the morning and I decided that I NEEDED to try this lamp. Because of this lamp I am able to wake up naturally. I have time to exercise. No more hitting the snooze bar over and over again. I even use the bedtime feature also.

Works well. Interesting shape, but light changes and options all really nice. Make sure you go out and buy a lot of incandescent light bulbs while you can because I think that is the key to the gradual light changes working so well.
