Our family are frequent fliers and having discovered these headphones, we are now avid users of them. Cutting back on that jet noise makes flying less stressful. My brother-in-law can't stand all the ambient sound in a busy shopping mall, so he uses them there. Someone else likes to sit up late and watch noisy car races on tv. He hears every voom voom, without keeping the rest of the family awake. And on airplanes it is a treat to discover that the sound quality on their movies and music is actually pretty good. Didn't know that using the airline supplied headphones. This has become THE gift for the family to give one another.

Nice to use. The only drawback is with all the cables and charger - I wish it was a bit smaller.

We travel ALOT and it is very difficult to listen to the movie or music on a flight. One airline is now giving out for use in business class the bose earphones. The difference was measurable so I bought one for my wife. I plan to buy one for myself.

Cons:
No low battery warning, Silent if battery drained
Best Uses:

Bottom Line:

When battery is drained you should no longer get noise cancelling but you should hear the device you are plugged into, not total silence.
Should have a battery strength indicator since you cannot replace drained batteries.
I would buy this product again

It is wonderful for watching movies on the airplane. I can hear the audio very well over the engine sounds.

My husband got a pair of Bose headphones and used them for travel. He loved them and let me try them. I loved them as well. When my company rewarded me with a gift certificate to any store that I wanted, I made sure that I chose one that had these headphones. It is amazing how they reduce that jet lag feeling. I mostly felt it in headaches and because of the reduction of the noise, it makes my destination much more enjoyable.
