This flag pole works. I have gone through 3 flag poles so far but I think that this one is a keeper. I live in a windy area and always had issues with my flag wrapping around the pole. It's been two weeks now and not once did it wrap around the pole. The only question is how long it will last. It does not seem to be very sturdy.

This is the third so-called tangle free flag pole we have purchased. (other 2 from other Companys) This is the only one that works. Would like it if the flag atachment hardware was better quality. Will see how it lasts,only had it up for 2 weeks. Instructions say to take it down when windy, living on the Oregon coast there would be very few days we could fly it. But it has not tangled one time and we have had some windy days.

We fly the flag outdoors year round. With the tangle-free flagpole it rarely becomes tangled, practically eliminating the need to climb a ladder to straighten it out.

At 45° the flag will still hang up on the pole when the wind gusts mildly.
In winter weather the mounting tube fills with ice and snow and freezes at night. When this happens it has to be removed and brought inside to thaw out. This is a pain in the cold.

We used to untangle the flag day after day. Now the stars and stripes fly tangle free. Pole really works well but should be brought inside if there's an ice storm or high winds as it can bend due to ice /snow weight on the flag.

We mounted it on a wood fence at the top of our hill so we could display the American Flag for all to see. It's great so far. It's held up to some pretty fierce winds but we're waiting to see about the rust factor. Only time will tell about that.

The flagpole has a very nice tangle-free feature that works well. However, we use fishing line to provide more stability at the top of the pole, and we did have to buy a second pole after the first one broke (snapped just above the base) during a storm.
