It' great it pulls all the Maple Tree seeds(helicopters as the kids call them) from the crevices of my deck. I hated seeing them stuck and starting to seed. Now even my granddaughter asks if she can do the work for me. Thanks

I have lots of pine needles that stick between porch and deck boards. I used the tool to clean it out and was surprised how nice it looked again. One troublesome thing is that the handle grip tries to slide off, so you have to keep pushing it back down. Otherwise, easy to use and does a good job.

Mine just came and I had to rush out to see if it worked as well as I anticipated. It did!! Not only does it get the debris better than using an old hack saw blade but is easier to use! Another reviewer commented that the handle comes off too easily - it does. This happened after using the tool about 10 minutes. I was prepared but dismayed that this had not been remedied. At most it is a minor inconvenience and does not affect the overall performance of the tool. A must have tool for anyone with a deck in the Pacific Northwest!

I got it to clean pine needles from between my cedar shakes on my roof. It works fine. It'd be better if it had a longer handle. I'm 6'4" and I have to lean more than is comfortable. But for all you "normal" people out there, it should be fine.

The Groove and Crevice Cleaner is a great tool for a very specific chore. I have a composite deck and the spaces between the boards is very narrow. Seeds, leaves, and pine needles get wedged in the cracks and even a power nozzle won't dislodge most of the debris. The crevice tool has a thin but sturdy blade that easily clears out the cracks. I'm short and the handle is the perfect length - it might not be long enough for a tall person. I gave 4 stars because of the handle length - If it was adjustable, this would be a 5 star tool.

Now with this tool it's so much easier and faster to get any of these things out of the crevices. I don't have to bend or stoop anymore, just insert and scoop and the job is done in a flash.

Found the crevice cleaner to be very useful in cleaning between boards on my deck and cleaning out the weeds and grass on my brick walk ways. Two improvements I would suggest is to make the handle a few inches longer, and to secure the grip on the handle better. Overall, the product is worth the money.

The older I get the harder it is to work bent over for long periods. I have had decks in the California coastal woods my entire adult life. Keeping the deck plank grooves clean of debrie is important to inhibit dry rot and extend the life of the wood. I have both redwoods and oak trees above my deck. The leaves and acorns will not blow out. I have tried many home made "tools", this one is the best ever-no bending over, narrow enough for tight planks and very sturdy.
I have already purchased a second one for my friend.

I tried using the tool to clean my back deck and it kept getting stuck on the nails. I'm not sure how most decks are put together but for me, the nails are about 10-12 inches apart in the crevices. It just didn't help much. The construction is quality and from what I've seen of the other reviews I think it could work if your deck is built differently than mine. I think it is worth a try.

This thing has kept my deck cleaner than it's been in a long time. Thanks to it's intelligent design it helps keep leaves out of my deck crevices. Most people think that it's functionality would end there, but it doesn't. I have had a serious squirrel problem recently and this handy hook has allowed me to capture several of them, quite humanely, and release them into the wild. It is also handy for keeping kids off my deck. The hook design allows me to trip them up easily when they get egg on my deck. This was totally worth the money.

This is the best gadget for getting the crud out of the spaces between deck boards that I ever saw. Water was getting under my doorsill because the spaces were clogged with dog hair, leaves, dirt, etc. It is easy to use but takes a little elbow grease so I haven't cleared the entire deck yet. But it shouldn't take more than a couple of hours to clean 8 years worth of accumulation.

Works much better than the other "make do" solutions we've tried. We feed raccoons and feral cats, and the cat and dog food often gets stuck between the boards. My husband is into bonsai, and the little pebbles also find their way into the cracks - this handles it all beautifully.
I would like it to be longer, but the only real comoplaint I have is that the grip slips off fairly easily if you pull with any force at all. I'm hoping some duct tape will provide enough friction to prevent this.
