I received this massager as a gift. I must admit, after testing it in the store, the strength of the messager was intimidating, however, I took it home and used it, and it was absolutely perfect. This has now become my best friend.

If left charging the battery will stop charging about after a year and at [$] dollars thats not good nor convenient. If Brookstone would change the circuitry so that we could leave it plugged in all the time while charging this massager would totally be perfect. It's written in the instructions not to leave it plugged in but you will find that its not convenient. Beacuase lets say you unplug it and not use it for 3 to 5 days you will find that the massager will be powerless. Though you could plug it in and use it that way but if thats the case why buy a CORDLESS massager. This is the second one i buy but i will not buy another one untill that issue is taken care of.

It's a really great massager, great for sore back muscles. The only bad thing is that there are only two settings, low and high, and high is almost too intense, at least for me.

One of the best things is that it only has a small red light to show it is plugged in. The last one we purchased was so bright you had to cover it ip at night. Th eblue light was awful.

My 89 year old Mother had little feeling in her left hand after a stroke, and big messagers jarred her too much. This one is just right for fragile old bones. 2nd one of these I have owned. My doctor recommend that I use a massager on my neck muscles to stop headaches.
works good but charging system kills the battery quick. a bit pricey.
AcuVibe is quiet and powerful. Cordless design is convenient. Very enjoyable sensations.

I have some peripheral neuropathy on the bottom of my feet and found that using this particular massager relaxes muscles in my arches and relieves the aches after a long day. It's a bit bigger than I need but it works.

I have just purchased my FOURTH Acu Vibe.
It WILL become a plug-in unit after a while. First stops holding a charge so you must leave it plugged in at all times. Then it just quits altogether.
