I have used it several times. It is fairly light weight and is compact enough to take on trips. It works very well in quickly removing the cork. The only problem and the reason for the 4 star is that it doesn't always go to the bottom of the cork so that you still have to tug a bit to get the cork out.

I am known as being the COLLECTOR OF CORK SCREWS, all of which seem great at the beginning, but then they break. This cork screw is THE BEST EVER. I have purchased it for myself and family members and my newly wedded daughters will be receiving these for Christmas also. Its easy to use, looks great and is STURDY, so should last a long time. There is nothing more disappointing than having cork pieces drop into a bottle of wine. With this nifty opener, that is a thing of the past! It makes opening a bottle of wine way too easy. I've used many openers over the years and have always reverted back to my small waiter style corkscrew (purchased 30 years ago during my waitressing days). This is the first, other than that, that I found easy and quick to use. I didn't need to read instructions, it was just "hold, push, pull" and I was finished. Love it!
Great for someone with arthritis or other problems holding clumsy wine openers.
Product would benefit from a foil cutter storage method attached to the opener. Otherwise an excellent product used daily!

It took a while to figure out how to make it grab the cork correctly. Also, when you unscrew the cork from the unit, it doesn't hold it so it falls on the floor or counter. I preferred my Rabbit
It does look nice and it fits in the drawer well.

Attractive, stylish & SO simple to use! Compact enough to take with you for outdoor picnics or even to a friend's house for a night out. This is an excellent tool...especially if you are tired of pulling, proding, coaxing, sometimes breaking wine corks which keep you from your favorite beverages! Easy to use...highly recommended...though pricy...one gets what one pays for. I'm sure I've spent twice as much over the years on inferior cork screws.

This product works great and the red color is very stylish. The only drawback is that the manual says not to use it on synthetic corks. We do anyway, but not sure if we will end up breaking it on a synthetic cork.

I've purchased 3 of these. Two for myself, one as a gift for my brother-in-law who always seems to have difficulty opening wine.
Has a solid feel, but not too heavy. I find it easy to use, you don't need a ton of effort to remove the cork from the bottle. Very quick and effective.
The foil cutter comes in handy and also does a great job.

This gorgeous wine opener has to be the best solution out there. A simple 2-step down-and-up easy motion gets the job done. Then repeat to release the cork. The foil cutter is sleek and simple too. After receiving this as a gift, I had to give one to a friend who tends bar at weddings. She said it saved her so much time (I'll never understand why they use that little "bartender's corkscrew")!

We broke the previous wine opener we had which was just your regular one from the supermarket. That same night we broke the swiss army knife trying to use the bottle opener gadget on that. I have had my wine connoisseur for almost 2 years. It has been used many, many times. I have never had to replace the cork screw. I love it so much that I gave one to my good friend for her birthday. Everyone is amazed at how easy it is to use. It says to only use it on real cork but I've used it on synthetic cork and it works just as well.

It is so easy and convienient for tralveling. Friends had really expensive ones, for the price this is durable and very functional. I do think that people with arthritis would have a problem since you have to grip th handles kinda hard.

I like that it comes with the paper cutter thingy.
My husband likes it alot because it doesn't break any corks and it works well with the new rubber corks too.
We bought it because our neighbor had one.
I'm intrigued by the many different openers there are for opening wine bottles, but this is the best I've tried. It's great.
