Fun and useful
This should help promote no drinkng and driving
I bought this so I will know when I need to take a cab home.
I used it as soon as I got it. As long as you read the directions and calibrate it with someone who's sober it'll be pretty accurate. I calibrated it on my brother (who doesn't drink) and I tried it after I had about 2 drinks of wine... It read 0.08. Which is pretty accurate. And I've used it often ever since and I've noticed that it's accurate. Just make sure you read the directions and calibrate it correctly on someone sober when you get it.
It is fun to have, and people are so intrigued by it. I had 2 martinis along with dinner (sandwich, soup, and salad) and it said my bac was 0.06. I am 5'3'' and I weigh 125. I think that is about right. Great gift!!!
This is a good device to have around. I would not rely on it if you are truly drinking and driving but it is fun to have at a party, or when you go out for drinks.

I went through it's calibration routine a few times. 30 minutes after 3 glasses of Scotch it said my bac was 0.00. I tried it four times with the same result. I'm returning it this weekend.

This seemed like a great idea but unfortunetly it is not accurate. I've used it after 4 beers and it read 0.00%. I'm 5'2 and about 130, I highly doubt my blood alcohol was 0.00%.
