These coasters die rather quickly. Cannot leave anything on them for long periods of time. Should include an automatic shutoff like the LED candles, or a more powerful, long-lasting power source.

A bit gimmicky. Also, there really should be some sort of timer to have them turn off. If you leave an empty glass on the coaster, the light stays on and battery goes dead quickly.

Great item.. it works beautifully on clear glasses. It's a conversation piece when used. The only con is that it can get slippery so if you have kids under 10 I would not leave it in their sight with a glass on...(unless it's plastic)

We got these as a gift for friends for Christmas. They are fun and festive year-round! Best to use a clear glass with them so the drink "lights up". Also, the base of the glass has to be large enough to sit on the part of the coaster that triggers the LED lights on (most glasses will work).
