This is my third one and I was very disappointed to see the company stopped making them because I simply can't live without it! You can easily see who is calling, even from across the room. You can see the clock in the dark. It's fun to leave messages for the kids to see too. It's very tekkie without being complicated. They do cease to work when dropped or knocked off the desk by a cat, so not esp. durable.

I bought 3 of these in the Brookstone store. Everyone who has seen them has wanted to know where to get one. It's a very useful and fun product. Hard not to stare at it!! Display is clearly visable from across the room. Hypnotizing!!

This is an excellent product to be placed in an area where you spend a lot of time, to avoid having to get up each time the phone rings to see who is calling. Perfect for the bedroom at night when attempting to sleep or watch TV.

Best use is that when you are on the phone and you have call waiting, you can see who is calling. No need to interrupt your call. Have had this product for more than five years. If this one stopped working, I would replace it immediately. This allows me to use the telephone for my convenience and talk only to those I wish. I have found that flipping it with your finger will stop the humming when it starts.

Preferred the older model that didn't have this loud blue lettering, but they are hard to find. Hopefully this one will last longer than the older one that died on us.

I love this globe. I never have to stop what I am doing to a answer the phone. I can see it from any room in my home. ( We have two globles) People are just facinated when they see it and everyone wants to know where to get one. I just purchased one for my sister for christmas and she loves it. I also am able to leave messages on it for the kids, they think it's cool to watch the letters spin and wait for the message. Great product.

I love this product, we have it on our main phone line. It's great because you can see from across the room, the Caller ID, Time, Date. It even gives us personalized Greetings for the Holidays! I have given these as gifts and everyone loves them. The only thing I would change is the 'settings' and more ease of using reviewing calls, setting time, etc.

I really like this for the practical reasons listed above. Also it's programmed messages are always a surprise. It wished me a "Happy Mother's Day" even. I just get a kick out of seeing "Good Morning" or "Good Evening". It was a gift and it is a gift that keeps on giving. The large display is so good as you can see who is calling even before you get to the phone!
