Pliers or a big tooth? Just what is it?
By Gadgetly-inclined,Verified Reviewer from Chicago, IL on 3/28/2008

It's clearly a novelty item. This particular model is too heavy for extended writing. The chrome finish tends to make it sweaty & slippery. It looks sleek & shiny, perfect on an executive's desk as a show-piece, but I wouldn't count on getting much work done with it. And it's almost impossible to grip and turn the nose to extend the pen (needs an ejector). Ok, I have to mention the little sidekick paperweight -- what is that?...leftover material -- believe me, it serves no purpose. This particular model would make a nice necklace-pen for women (seriously, I'd wear it). Overall, I'd only recommend it for fun or show, personal and business. It would make a nice gift. I can honestly say, the person who has everything does not have this.

This is a very interesting concept in pens! I purchased it as a gift for someone with focal dystonia which makes writing difficult. While the pen does relieve some of the pressures and stress of a standard grip, it does still require quite a bit of wrist action and is doesn't have a "natural" feel. Very sleek design and gets noticed! Overall a good product and a nice change from the standard modifications for writer's cramp.

I'm a fledging Copy Writer. Spend quantity of time researching and writing down facts to build a profitable letter for a company.
Although this pen is unusal in style, it has been one of the best investments I've made. Now that I'm seasoned, writing for any length of time has been painful till my first experience with the Ergo Pen. This has given me back the joys of writing. Amazing how much it's changed my attitude about researching, it's a great feeling now.

It was hard at first to figure out how to get the pen retract and extend in order to write. All you have to do is to tightning the cap will extend the pen point. Pen was great to hold and write no wierd pressure on finger. I would keep it for a long time.
