A classic,the Fisher Bullet Space Pen was originally designed for use on space flights. This pressurized space pen writes in freezing cold(-30°F),boiling heat(+300°F),the gravity-free vacuum of space, underwater,over most grease,and even upside down. Conceived in 1948, Paul Fisher began machining a new pen design shaped from solid aluminum. The Bullet became the first Fisher ballpoint pen,the #400 Chrome Bullet Pen. NASA, after rigorous testing, selected the Fisher Space Pen for use on all of the Apollo missions. They are still used on all American and Russian manned space flights.

In the picture, it looks like a full size pen.
The pen only becomes this size when you put the cap on it. It is really only half the size with cap on . (maybe 3 inches). I love all of the features, which of course you cannot find in any other pen.

This pen was given as a gift and my husband was simply awed. He let me try the pen myself, I wished I had purchased two. I do plan on getting one for myself soon! It no only looks impressive it feels wonderful to write with.
