As an elderly person I find myself in many a situation in which the lighting to read is not adequate. Fortunately my magnifier comes to my
rescue. Some ecamples: the daily newspaper, the numbers on a thermostat and menus.

Works great. Fits in shirt or pant pocket. The light shines on the subject and it uses 2 AAA batteries. The cover protects it.
