Had this at my home and decided that it would be very useful for my dorm room. Raises the computer and my books closer to me so that I have better posture seated. Keeps the heat from the computer away from my legs. Another place to lean on.

The e-pad lap top desk is great for the dorm. It takes little space and goes anywhere. I can use it on my bed or on the futon. It makes balancing a lap top much more comfortable.

I use my e-Pad Laptop Desk while sitting on the sofa to work on my laptop while watching T.V. My girlfriend uses it while riding as a passenger in the front passenger seat of my car when we are traveling. It's cool to look at and everyone likes it! I bought my one for my son his birthday, and now my daughter wants one. Great product! Cool colors!

I bought this item for my husband. He has back issues and could never get comfortable while using his laptop. Since I bought the epad Laptop desk, he uses it all the time and actually thanked me for buying it for him. He is definitely difficult to buy for so I consider this a huge success. I have tried it as well. It is comfortable, very functional, and easy to store. I would highly recommend this product.

Getting used to the height of the "desktop" takes a little adjustment depending on your comfort level, but overall this is very handy and comfortable.

I spend hours on my laptop every night. My primary workspace is in my bed before I fall asleep. After long hours of work, it would be uncomfortable to have it sitting on my lap. The e-pad laptop desk gives you the perfect for use in bed or sitting in the living room on the couch.

This soft and comfortable epad is perfect. Rather than having your hot, hard laptop on your lap, you can have it on a soft and portable pad.

This was a birthday gift for my husband, who works from home on his computer most evenings and weekends, and likes to relax in his reclining chair while researching and writing on his laptop. This product replaces a hard surface that he has used for years, and is a tremendous improvement in comfort! I looked everywhere for a padded laptop support. This was the only comfortable one that I found, and it has been perfect. The only problem is trying to get it away from our daughter so thathe can use it. We may have to get another one.

What a great idea. I bought it for my wife for our 40th wedding anniversary. She loves it. She just sits in front of the gas fireplace and types her e-mails and searches the web in comfort. No more hot laps. Thanks.

This lap desk is great - just the right size and easy to use. I would like it better if there were beads in it - instead of foam. It would be easier to settle on lap.
This is a wonderful product. I can lay in bed and use my laptop without burning my legs. It is very comfortable. I highly recommend this product. If you know anyone who has a laptop and hates sitting at a desk, then this is the gift for them.

I love my e-pad. I do not like sitting at a desk, instead I enjoy using my laptop in bed or sitting on the floor. The great thing about the e-pad is that I can sit in bed relaxing without burning my legs from my hot lap top. You can also use the e-pad as a small desk if you don't want to sit it on your lap. This is a wonderdul product. It's comfortable, and it does keep your legs from burning. I highly recommend it and I plan on buying another one as a gift for a friend. Also I have a 15.4 laptop but it also works with a 17 inch. I just bought mine two weeks ago and I hope to have it for many years to come. Thanks Brookstone for creating a great product. I searched in Walmart and Target for something to keep my laptop from scorching my legs but I am so happy that I stopped at Brookstone. No one else has this product, so pick up yours today before the word gets out and they become hard to find. Also, they come in great colors. I bought the black one because black goes with everything.

I like using my laptop at my chair in front of the TV, and in my bed. Before, the corners of the computer would poke me, and get hot. With this, the computer fan can run properly, and I am not concerned with it getting hot.
Anything not so great? Well, sometimes I have to shift the pillow a little...but other than that, I am super pleased with this product!!!!
