I am surprised that this mouse works so well. Some reviews state that it is complicated to set up, that the power shuts off too early, etc. It took me about 30 seconds to set up. The mouse only has to be synchronized once unless you change the batteries, which is no big deal.

The only weakness is that it can get a little jittery from a distance over 2 feet, but that doesn't impact my use.

Everything is great about this product, although it did drain my batteries quite fast. I use this on my laptop daily and every time that I am not using it I properly put it away in my drawer and it still seems to run through batteries. Also, it state that it will work on most surfaces, and it does not work on my woodtop desk. Works great with a mousepad.

I love it. The only cons are that it shuts off automatically, so you need to take a minute to reset it before you use it again and that it seems to use up the batteries quickly.

I love being wireless. It is just as comfortable using this mouse with my left hand as it is with my right. The mouse is very accurate. It is easy to use once you read the directions.

This mouse is great for traveling, and easy to store and use. The only downside to this product is that it becomes a little uncomfortable (due to it's size) with extended use - after about 2-3 hours. But, besides that, the price is right on and the integrated USB storage was one of the reasons I purchased two of them.

Mouse good value, but aggravating
By googmeister from Pittsburgh, PA on 10/24/2007
Pros:
Easy To Use, Fast, Powerful
Cons:
Directions need improvmnt, Hard To Setup
Primary use:
Business
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

No mouse pad needed, and it works really well. A little cumbersome how you have to coordinate the usb connector with the mouse power switch to get it to work, but you get used to it. What's hard to get used to is how quickly it lapses into sleep mode, requiring you to initiate the start up sequence all over again. If there can be an adjustment made to the sleep mode timing, it would attract a larger audience, no doubt, because the world needs an easy to use, reasonably priced (like this one) wireless mouse.

Great little mouse

This mouse is great. At first was hesitant because it seemed to cheap considering that retractable mice run about the same. Its a small mouse but it has a good weight to it. The tracking seems to be quick with out any adjustments to the windows options. No software to install, easy to use, one of the better mice i've used. Haven't used long enough to go through a set of batteries so i assume they last at least several months. I use for class, great to just throw in backpack and go. Only downside ive noticed is sometimes the receiver pops out in my bag. other then that great mouse. Friends have been very impressed as well.

Great design, frustrating implementation
By OS internals guy from Portland, OR on 8/14/2007
Pros:
Smart efficient design
Cons:
Works when it wants to

Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

The activity LED on the USB receiver shows all the chatter sent by the mouse, but it very often simply stays on solid, with the mouse unable to move the cursor. I can usually "fix" this by bringing the mouse to within a 1/4 inch of the receiver, but that doesn't always work, forcing me to repeat the pairing protocol frequently. The normal distance between the mouse and the receiver is a great big 2 inches, and there are fresh Coppertops (checked with a volt meter) in the mouse. So close, so frustrating!

Here's the Trick to Get it Working
By Geekgirl from NY on 7/29/2007
Pros:
Easy To Use
Cons:
Hard To Setup
Describe Yourself:
Value Oriented
Primary use:
Personal

Step #1: Install batteries.
Step #2: Plug USB transmitter into the USB port.
Computer should automatically recognize and install the mouse. Easy... but you're not done yet.

THIS is where MOST people get STUCK.
Step #3: There's a tiny button on the bottom of the mouse you need a pen-tip to push. There's also a tiny button on the top of the USB transmitter. My fingernail worked for that one. You need to press them both AT THE SAME TIME... then release AT THE SAME TIME.

Lights on both the USB and the Mouse will flash RAPIDLY once it's synchronized.

Took me awhile to figure it out, myself. Quite frustrating.

This mouse does not work
By Luckylady13ca from Canada on 7/21/2007

Best Uses:
None at all

This mouse is not recognized on any USB port, hence it does not work. I went out and purchased new batteries thinking mine were not strong enough and still it does not work. All the lights come on on both the mouse and the transmitter, but nothing. It was a total waste of [$]
