Not quite the same as the "old fashioned" tree lights, but still look good and becase they stay cool, the needles don't adhere to the lights.

The biggest disappointment is that the LED didn't really have a C-7 socket, so I could mix and match some of my effect lights with the string. All the LED's are hard connected in their "bulbs" to the "socket." Still, they have roughly the same brightness as standard painted bulbs.

We love these lights for their energy-saving-ness, and they are supposed to be better for the environment. If you're used to the large, traditional Christmas tree lights, these are not as bright, but they're festive just the same!

I can't wait for next Christmas so I can put these beautiful lights on my tree. The larger size looks more like the old lights we used to use, but these will be much more energy efficient, and beautiful as well. The colors are bright and cheery. I will probably buy more for my children.

Diappointed that the lights were not brighter. However, the brass holders are good, sturdy. Not sure if we will use again next year.

While a couple of fuses were quick to blow as we checked the lights, they were easy to replace. Lights were attractive on our tree and will be used again next year.

The lights are beautiful on my tree and give a warm glow when I turn off the other lights. They don't get hot and save energy.
