I have some potted trees that I keep lighted year round. Regular light strings burned out way too fast so I decided to try LED's. The first ones I found, however, had the garish blue white light typical of early LED's. These have a nice warm and gentle light. Just perfect and their life expectancy is hundreds of thousands of hours. Low electricity usage is another plus. I am very happy.

It was difficult to find a basic string of white led lights as I searched on the Internet. Finally I came across these and they are just perfect. They also arrived almost immediately too, that was a bonus!

We had a really dead looking corner in our sitting room, so I took an old fake ficus tree and lit it with these lights. It brightens up the room and the green cord hides well. I'm making crystal ornaments for the tree that will sparkle, hopefully, when it is lit... Cool product!

We bought these lights for our potted trees on our patio for Christmas lights and summer evening lighting. We also tried them inside on the Christmas tree but found them to be too overpowering for indoor use. They are, however, perfect for what we bought them for.

Like the style and quality . . I just wish that with led's the "inventors" would come closer to the soft light of regular christmas lights. Maybe in time. It's not Brookstones fault, but I'm returning them and hoping that in another year .. "warm white" will really mean "Warm"! For now led's are still pretty harsh. We ended up using amber LEDs this year as a substitute, but I'm going to tell Santa next year to make WARM ones!!
These would also be great in ALaska . . they wouldn't need to worry about teh lack of daylight!

The product arrived VERY promptly. I was satisfied, but would caution others that the white lights appear somewhat blue. I might suggest the colored LED Ice lights as an alternative to the white. The lights were bright and did not become warm to the touch even after hours of use.

I bought these lights because they are cost effective. They do not have the luster of the older style bulbs or the mini lights.

I went to a [...] store to see the lights so I could decide which ones I wanted. But I was told they were only available on-line. There weren't any in the store at all! I couldn't believe that I couldn't see the various types to compare them! I wanted to see what the "warm white" looked like. I bought two different sizes of "warm white" lights on-line. But I may have purchased other types if I'd been able to see what they looked like at the store.

Although the bulbs are not as white as regular LED's, they are not as warm-colored as pictured in the catalog. Makes the Christmas tree look great!
