It is nice and looks like an eyeball, the bendable part feels like metal you can put around your neck to read, it bends and stays nice. The eye lid part half way is dimmer light and lift it wide and it is brighter light. I wish brookstone would let you pick the color you want. I got pink and love it, but would like to order more in different colors as 4 colors are available

My kids want to read just so they can use it and it helps see things in tight areas. Also does not glare on the television screen when in use unlike a table lamp may do. Thank you it is a great smile starter also. Anyone who receives one as a gift or for themselves can't help but smile.

I love this light. It is the best bedside reading light I've ever used and I have tried many different kinds. If you need to get up at night this is the perfect light to use. It's so portable that you can use it in the car. I bought two lights and keep one in my car in case i want to read at night while I am traveling. That way I don't disturb the driver by using the overhead car light. Great product.

The light can be set very dim for reading in bed without disturbing my wife, but at the barely-open setting, the light beam is narrow and broad, where a round beam would illuminate more of the text. The Wink is great for plumbing or engine work where a light is needed in a small dark area; you can hang it on your neck or wrap it around any handy object.

My daughters gave me this as a Christmas gift. I use it quite often. The LED light is quite bright. Good product! The only negative is the on/off feature. When packed in a suitcase, jostling will turn the light on and run down the battery.

This product is quite small. Which could be okay in some cases. I wanted something a bit bigger. The light isn't all that bright. If using it as a reading light in bed, I DONT recommend. You can adjust how intense you want the light, but be careful. It doesnt seem to be made to sturdy. Not to pleased with the product for the price I paid! AND I purchased the silver, they sent me the black. I didnt want black.

[...] I saw it and liked the look. When I saw the price there was no question. I first purchased it to provide directed light while making jewlery (personal hobby). I have since found more and more uses for it. I now use it for most places I need a small light. The two intensity levels were a nice surprise I did not know about before I bought it. I used it on a trans-Atlantic flight without ever disturbing the guy next to me. The only thing that one may not like is that it is not as bright as some of the three or more LED lights available. It does however provide more than enough light for it's intended use. I have recommended this product to freinds and co-workers and all seem to be very happy with it. Highly recommended.
