This an excellent light, BUT the on/off switch becomes loose and easily slides to the "on" position, using up the battery. Buy it and use it, but plan on replacing it because of the switch.

I got this as a gift for my husband. I always get him a keychain light when his burns out. He absolutely LOVES this one!! He loves that the light hasn't started to dim with repeated use, and that this one isn't bulky on his keys like many of the other lights he has had. This is such a great toy for a husband, college kids, parents, and basically everyone that has a keychain. Don't get me wrong, it's a very practical device, but I have to call it a toy because my husband loves it so much that he finds EVERY way that you could possibly use this thing! He has it with him at all times, and will use it to shine on something if someone isn't paying attention, tease the cat, and make puppet shaddows on the wall. But this light really comes in handy. He uses it when he has to fix machines at work and when he has to look at something in his car. We have both used it to check the fuse box when the lights go out, and its actually more powerful than our flashlight. Basically, if you ever use keychain lights or if you are looking for a little gift for someone, this is really cool. For [$] bucks this is awesome.

Everyone needs a "light" from time to time. With this handy gadget you do not need to store a clumsy flash light in the trunk, in a drawer, under the bed..someplace you can never find it when you need it. And forget the frustration of dead batteries. This light is sleak, powerful, handy in a purse, on a key chain, at the bedside..when you need a light, it's ready and working!

As a pilot, I have grown attached to my Microlite. I have one on all my key chains and always carry at lest one loose one in my pocket. Excellent in a lights-out situation and small enough to put in your mouth and use both hands. ON/OFF switch is poorly designed. After extended use it fails, sometimes turns on in your pocket depleting the batteries. Replacing batteries and putting back together not a friendly job. Good gift...

My dad snow plows in the winter so its a great light for his key chain when working under the trucks and as a quick light that goes a long way. He says it really lights up everything and is very satisfied. Grandma needs this for walking up the pathway to her house at night (which has no light) also helps her getting in the front door and finding her keys.

I bought these because occasionally when my outdoor light burns out, I am not aware of it. I find it difficult to locate the lock on the entry way door. This little light helps me find my way in, and even provides light while I turn on the kitchen, living room or outdoor lights. Perfect if you forget to set timers for lights! I bought two of these, and hooked on onto my fuse box (I have an older home). That way, if a fuse blows, I can easily locate the problem. I like the choice of colors, too (blue or white).
