I love flameless candles! They are great for singles, folks with pets, and folks with little kids. Once batteries are placed in the candle, you're good to go. Turn them on... and they turn themselves off after a couple hours. No flames to worry about, so you can safely fall asleep and not worry that it'll start a fire. Different scents make it fun too.

I love candles in the home but will not burn them due to dangers of a fire. When I saw this product I was intrigued. I purchased a few sets both in the store and on line and love them. I like the sensor and 2 hour timer effect. My friends saw them and also loved them. The set's I purchased at the Brookstone store I gave away as gifts so I went online and bought a few for myself. What a wonderful idea to have the look and scent of a wax candle without the danger.

I like candles in the house but refuse to have them because of the dangers of fire. When I saw this product I first ordered these in Lavendar and loved them so much I ordered the Vanilla also. My friends saw them and they asked me to order 2 sets for them also. This is a wonderful idea and the flameless candle really looks like a real lit candle. I love the scent.

I bought two of these candles on sale, and they are worth every penny. Look and feel like real candles, but imitation LED light is safe and flickers like a real candle to create soft light and ambience. A must for anyone who enjoys candlelight, but is worried about fire hazards. Vanilla candles also give off a pleasant, but not overpowering scent. You can safely fall asleep to relaxing candlelight.

Easy to use. My friend just bought a house with a special fireplace heating system and she can no longer burn scented candles in her home. I bought this as a gift for her so she can still have scented candles, just not the soot & flames that go with them! It's a really nice product!

I bought these for a gift. The recipients at one time had candles on a picnic they could not use, either due to the wind or the lack of matches. When the gift was opened they were pleased with the real wax as well as flameless feature.

I found this candle in the[...]holiday store and thought it was really quite attractive when "lit" and set on a shelf.It took a little trial and error to get the batteries in right, because the polarity markings are quite small and hard to read. Other than that, it started right up and worked as described.Unfortunately, after the plastic wrapping covering the candle was taken off, both my wife and daughter started sneezing from the scent, so we had to remove the candle from the house immediately. If you can handle the chemicals from plug-in air fresheners you're probably okay -- but if you have allergies be sure to keep the receipt.

We received two of these candles as gifts and liked them so much that we ordered two more.
They look amazingly like real candles and are very nice to use on a mantel or against a wall where you might get smoke from a regular candle.

I love that the flameless wax sensor candle looks like a real flickering candle, yet will last so much longer, and there's no harm if it is accidentally knocked over. The colors look natural and the scent does not overpower. The only thing I wish is that it would stay on until I decide to turn it off, or until the battery runs out, whichever comes first!

I like the automatic shut off. I got 2 of the unscented candles and they are so relaxing to watch. They even flicker. None of my house guests knew that they were real flames.

This product is great because candles add a sense of warmth and relaxation yet how often do you then get paranoid you left a burning candle unattended? With these candles, you get the glow and scent without any of the worry. Even if left on they automatically shut off! Great for use around kids, too.

I like the idea of a flameless candle for a variety of reasons (allergies, safety, mood). It would have been nice to have the option of a re-chargable base rather than limited use batteries since it was offered in the smaller tea light candles. Regardless, I am very pleased.

I enjoy the ambience of candle light, but frequently do not use it extensively at home because of safety and clean up concerns. These candles solve the problem. Now I can enjoy candle light and even fall asleep with it flickering and do not have to worry.

I'm still not sure when I can wave my hand or when I have to push the button on the bottom (I don't read directions!) but I do like the candles. They look great in our lanai at night with all the lights off.

Works well for a real candle look without dealing with actual candles. Scent was noticeable but not overpowering. Doesn't throw as much light as a normal candle if that is a consideration for your purchase.

I have one for myself and love it. It is easy to use, and u never had to worry about leaving it.... I have it next to my bed, and I fall asleep and it turns off...no danger of burning anything. It looks and smells just like a real candle. If I dont tell someone that its not, they always assume its burning.

I love the looks, but was expecting a closer resemblance to lavender for the scent. The scent is somewhat 'waxy' smelling and not crisp and fresg like it could be. I like enough though to possibly try a different fragrance.

Bought flamless sensor candles, lavender. The candles smell good up close. Does not smell like a good yankee candle where the room fills with scent but is great so you dont have to worry about fire and also looks like a real flickering candle. Bought two candles and the sensor works well in one but the other there must be a short or something inside. It shuts off and turns itself back on. I need to take out battery just to shut off. I would recommend I just happen to have received one that just has an issue but the other one is great.

Used these candles on my mantel & they did not produce enough light, unless the room was almost totally dark! With the use of 4 AA batteries in each one, I thought they would have a much better glow to them.

Couldn't use candles previously because of the cat. This is perfect, nice scent (vanilla) and batteries seem to last a long time.(too soon to tell) The directions to install the batteries and markings could be better.

This candle set makes a great gift (and I even bought a set for the home). The timer and the realistic flicker sets this product apart from the others. Its a real joy to use these for every-day dinners without fear that you'll create a fire hazard or "use-up" the candles for an "ordinary" evening instead of saving them up for a special one. Make every family dinner a little more special, and if you ever loose power in your home you'll have these to add to your emergency lighting as well. I gave it four stars instead of five because I think its slightly over-priced and I wish the timer could be adjusted by the user instead of fixed at 2 hours. Still, this is a great purchase!

The vanilla sensor candle looks and smells real, with a pleasant vanilla scent and very realistic "flickering" flame. The auto-shutoff is a nice feature. The sensor feature is unnecessary but very cool--no one in my family can walk by this without waving their hand over it multiple times to turn it on and off. I can see where the darker colors would be too dim as others have said, which is why we bought the vanilla. This is a wonderful way to have realistic candle light that won't burn your house down.

Great product for 90 year old Grandmother who still likes to decorate her house over the holidays. Much safer alternative to candles for her and still adds festive ambience. The 2 hour auto shut off is a great pro, hopefully battery life and bulb may be prolonged.

I bought these for a gift for a 93 and 35 year old females. They both loved it. The 93 year old is in an assisted living home so a candle with out flame was perfect for her. From the side you would bet your next paycheck it was a real candle. They are easy to turn on and off.
