Searched for a long time for a plug-in candle that would work on windows without a sill. These are perfect. The day-night sensor works very well and is not affected by ambient room light even with only sheer curtains. The thin window bracket still allows the window to close and seal properly.

My vinyl windows have a bar that protrudes from the window that you use to lift the window to open it. this interfers with the bracket and you can't use this type of candle unless your window is perfectly flush with no protruding parts near the sill.

Set them up before Christmas, and do not have to touch them again until the end of the season. A great convenience!

We bought 25 of these candles for our house. It is great not to have to change batteries. The light sensor is a must. We don't have to go around and plug/unplug all of the candles.
Out of 25, we had one that didn't work out of the box.

This product is a great idea especially offering peace of mind from candles that can fall from windows. Unfortunately, with the way that the candle is designed to be held secure in a closed window, they don't work with our windows because they have a lip that the window fits in when closed. I was terribly disappointed because I could have put them in the window and forgotten about them.

What my favorite thing is that I did not have to worry about them falling off the window sills. On my old ones I had to purchase a plastic holder to hold them in the window. This looks more attractive.

I like the design of the window candles, and I also like that the bulbs have a dull light. For the cost of the items, it would have been nice to have better quality "brass." My old candles that don't work in my new house (because we no longer have window sills), had a nice heavy brass base, but they were not nearly as costly. I guess you are paying for the design. I would still buy them again because they are useful.

Great candles except would like to have an on/off switch for the times I would like to have them on during the day. Also, if they are in a bedroom you have to unplug at night.

This electric candle that works in windows with no window sill finally solved my problem. Just what I needed and works great.
Had to put on a timer and tape over candle shaft because spotlights on front of house turned the candles off at night. Otherwise, really great solution to my problem.

Does not stand up under modern double hung window frames - required tape to window. Light sensor on some of the candles either too sensitive or not sensitive enough and flicker while the other candles glow nicely. The candles themselves are gorgeous.

I bought enough for every window in my home, even the windows in the garage. They were easy to assemble and install. I live in a patio home condo development. We're not allowed outside decorations. I had an e-mail from the lady across the street telling me how nice my candles looked. It made my day.

I purchased 13 of these candles and I love them! The only thing is that I could not use it on the middle window (or bay window) but from outside it looks beautiful and doesn't need it! I don't have to worry about turning them on and off and that's worth a $ value :-)

I love these candles because with the bracket they fit under the window sash so they don't fall off the window sill. Also, since they turn themselves on and off, I do not need to run around the house plugging them in!
These are absolutely the best candles that I have ever purchased. I have 11 that I purchased last Christmas season and left them in all year long for ambience, and not one has failed me yet! They slip right under the window and fit when closed, so they never slip or fall out of place. These are gorgeous in the windows and well worth every penny!
