I have always wanted to know the weather ahead of time. I own two homes, a primary and a secondary and would spend too much time on the internet or watching the news trying to get info about the weather in both the towns in which a live. I like the fact that I can see weather projected 5 days out, but because I live in a city that is not on its "listed" cities (ie Denver is a listed city vs. Colorado Springs is not and that is where I live), I had to subscribe to get that service. I would check the listing of cities before purchase so you know if you live in a "listed" city or if you will have to subscribe to get that weather service where you live (which is appx. $15-20/year).

The magnetic mount works very well on my refrigerator door next to my rotating work schedule. I can quickly plan my days off. The accurate clock also came in handy when resetting clocks around the house after a power outage. It is just such a handy little tool, taking up little space. I bought another as a gift to a friend.

This 4" x 4" wireless 5-day weather forecaster is a quick, convenient way to check the day's or week's weather, but I wish that it was a little larger. The live satellite data feed updates every 15 minutes, and has been very accurate to date. The forecaster has a magnet on the back to place on the refrigerator, a keyhole to hang on the wall, or a folding stand to place on a desk, etc. Mine is on the kitchen wall. I love this little device, and would highly recommend it. Great gift!
I have owned this product for over a year - it worked great for the first 9 months or so, then we stopped receiving the signal from the provider. We are listed in the area for signal coverage(Check ambientdevices website for coverage area - not all are covered). I've contacted the company to find out if there is a repeater problem in my area, but they don't respond to inquiries. Nice prodcut if they send the signal.

In my advanced years it is good to know the temp. outside before leaving the house. Brookstone has several options. I chose the 5 day forcaster.
I took it out of the box, fed it batteries, and slapped it on the fridge. We are very happy together. One small problem. The indoor temp. is not displayed. I will get over it.

This is a great product to use for the weekly weather forecast. The only negative is that we had to subscribe to get the exact weather for our city (it is only programmed for major cities) and the batteries don't last long enough.

I like to know what the weather is going to be before I get dressed for the day and I also like to know what is going to be happening a few days ahead and the Forecaster gives me all that information. It is easy to read. You can check other areas if you are going to be traveling. My husband and I like it so well we have given it as a gift to a few of our friends.

I consider that it is a very good product. The device receives a strong signal an the forecast is very accurate. The only problem that I found is that the currently temperature that it shows is not exactly; normally it differs with the information in internet and another device that I have at home.

I once purchased a similar product for 3 Christmas gifts two years ago and regreted the day that I didn't buy one for me. I love it. I can travel with it and it resets, I can see the upcoming weeks' weather. It's just super for me. This one even has a magnetic on the back and is now on my refrigerator. Thx for the sale on it!!!

I own one of these weather forcasters and loved it so much I bought 2 more for gifts. It is very accurate with the daily news and I don't have to try to catch the news to find the weather. I have it on the refrigerator and the magnet is very strong.

I first learned about this item when my sister bought it for our mom. I have since purchased 3 of these - one for my father-in-law, one for my mother-in-law, and one for our own household. I just think it is handy to be able to see the 5-day forecast at a glance (without having to go on-line, or to watch the weather on TV). I think it will come in especially handy during the wintertime, e.g., when big snowstorms are predicted. The only con is a minor one - because space is limited, the symbols for stormy weather (e.g., thunderstorms, rainstorms) are a little hard to interpret, and it is not entirely clear what time of day the storms are expected.

The device works fine but the info I obtained on the web didn't explain the cities of coverage well. The device didn't display our city and the closest city displayed was 300 Miles and +2000 in elevation which is not remotely relevant to our city. I had given it to my dad for father's day and so I called and had to purchase the premium package at 6.95 a month to display our city. I was somewhat disappointed because when I checked if our area was covered prior to purchase, it was confirmed that it did. If it wasn't a gift I would have returned the device but my dad was very excited about it.

This weather forcaster is great. The only problem is that it only shows the weather from the closest City. I just wish it showed weather a little closer to home since NYC is an hour a way from us and can be quite different. But, overall it's a great way to help you know what to wear for the day (and the week ahead!!)

We got this for a father's day gift. Father's day happened to be while we were on vacation in South Carolina. We were able to see every day to make plans for the week. It was very accurate and helpful. We had ordered it very early so I was able to tell the kids how to dress for school in the morning. We have recommended this to several people already. We love it.

The predictions are pretty much on target, although I live about 35 miles from this airport and the forecast is somewhat unreliable. There is a smaller airport just 5 miles away, but not accessible to the device.

Because of our location, it does flip between two "regions" so at times (30-40%) we don't get weather for our city
