Cleanse Light™ helps kill up to 99.97% of certain fungus, bacteria and mold on household surfaces. It employs the UV technology currently used to sterilize workspaces and tools used in laboratories. UV light at germicidal wavelengths has been shown to help kill odor-causing fungus and bacteria. An important safety feature is built in—UV light deactivates if the unit is not pointing downwards, preventing the user from accidental exposure. Uses four AA batteries (included).

Gave cleanse light, as a gift, to a person who is very careful about cleaning. She was very pleased that she could clean childrens toys and games.

Exellent product...Excellent idea. I think it works, but to be honest, no way of knowing exactly. Excellent on keyboards, phones, or any product that multiple people may use / touch. Thinking of getting the bigger model for wide sweeping areas in the kitchen.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend

It works as advertised. But the surface you are treating needs to be exposed to the light for 20 seconds, so if the surface is more than a foot or so it can take a long time. This was an impulse buy, sort of regret it now. I use a different device to sanitize my toothbrush that turns itself off after the proper length of time.
